| It's very possible that we would have to do that anyway. I, after Friday, just hope we do get to the MPG. Still low 5 days on.
Strange Sale playing Saturday (v Leicester Tigers) so probably on telly.

wouldn't worry looks like you might not make it looking really dire for your chances of staying in SL just can not understand what has gone wrong with your club you have one of the best coaches in the world overlooking everything a decent squad but no team togetherness or spirt

| Got to say Salford played like a bunch of individuals rather than a team tonight. And if more of those individuals had put as much effort into winning the game as they did into little personal spats then they'd probably do a lot better.
Having said that don't Salford have 3 of the Championship clubs left to play? Likely 6 points there so it's not as bad as it may seem just from looking at the table right now.

Really dire?
Worse scenario is the MPG away from home.
I think 3 to 5 could be decided on points difference.

well you need some real soul searching now but it is also an opportunity to string some results together get some confidence back into to the team and work on your performance so you have got to look to the positives in the next three weeks thf you could be a different team in three weeks god knows you have the capability

| Salford have been unlucky like Leigh were last year to have their 4 hardest games first up. I would wager huddersfield would be in a similar boat at this stage if they had the fixtures Salford had

I pointed out this on the Leeds board after week 1. Hudds got off to a bad start after a few losses at the end of the regular season to boot, but they've had 3 very winnable games to build confidence, momentum, score points and win.....if after their first loss to Salford they had to go play Leeds, Leigh and HKR, then who knows they could be 0 points right now and be completely gone in terms of confidence and likewise if Salford had faced the 3 'lesser' Championship clubs after week 1 they could be on 8 from 8 and full of confidence to get over the finishing line.
I don't think 3 wins from 3 will save Salford from avoiding the MPG, but they could get some momentum building. I do think HKR will be ok, it's between yourself and Hudds for the other MPG slot IMO. Obviously the game between you two at your ground but also Hudds have Leeds at home and HKR away.
I'll go Hudds vs Salford in the MPG.

I am a Wakey fan so thankfully my team won't be involved but I agree with your picks for the mpg unless Leigh implode

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

| I can't understand why the fixture organisers can't rotate rounds so in a round all Sl clubs meet each other, then in the next round it is SL v Championship clubs. That seems the fairest rotation and avoids cries of we've played 2/3 SL clubs in a row, no wonder our confidence is shot.

Simple if the RFL could pick a club to go down Salford would be top of the list, why make it fair & change an habit of a lifetime
