Thank you for Posting that Awayfan, have not received that newsletter personally. I must say, that's an impressive piece of communication from the club that has been clearly much improved this offseason.

It provides a clear explanation for the retail side of things and I'm sure most of us can appreciate the position we are in. Hopefully, we'lll avoid making grandiose announcements regarding retail units etc if they aern't viable in the first place, however.

They are also seemingly leaving no stone unturned in attempting to build membership/season ticket sales. Can only support what the club are trying to do and happy to see them making a conserted effort to contact people in this regard. Small steps but certainly going in the right direction off the field.

I still believe what happens on the pitch will be the greatest way to build the fanbase and club and hopefully we'll have a decent season with little drama off the pitch!

1400 seems a decent number with 3 months to go, 2500 is definitely achievable. We should be aiming for no less than 4000 fans for every home game.

I know it's important for us to get off to a good start as this massively effects season ticket sales. Hopefully we can get a big win in the first home game against Saints and offer pro rata season tickets. (We should offer them all season)

Can do. Last couple of days I've been getting an email from Martin on a daily basis as I've not renewed my season ticket.

After all the effort they're putting in I haven't got the heart to tell him I won't renewing.

I registered with the club years ago for updates and receive them on a regular basis and I also find the all the club staff eager to answer any queries that I have.

Appears the clubs target was 1900 season tickets. If they are saying they need 500 to sign up, unless it's the 500 plus those that haven't already renewed.

I'm loving all this contact made by the club, such a huge change in operations. It's definitely a change for the better. dare I say it, we actually look professional. Only negative I can see is the lack of paragraph spacing in the emails from Martin. It makes it hard to read. I never thought I'd be in a position that the only thing i have to moan about is that. Good times ahead

That’s been sorted with a follow-up email today.

Just checked my emails and, no more complaints from me. Not only are there separate paragraphs but a professional looking header. Thumbs up from me.

Same here I must admit I've been so impressed with the contact I've personally had three phone calls and two e-mails from Vickers.

TBH I wanted to say I've never been as despondent with Salford for the Forty odd years I've watched them as last season and we've had some bad times but last year to watch so called professionals clearly lay there tools down and in some cases walk away from the club and their contract really was it for me (and 7 other season ticket holders that I know personally, that's not counting the lads I stand with at the match). I wanted to add that I will pick and choose which games I want to turn up to like the players did and then it allows me to give up when they do.

There I feel better now that I've got that off my chest and who knows I'll probably end up going to most if not all the games giving the club more revenue, I guess that's up to what Salford we have next year.

failing that I'll stick to my measly two Sky offerings a week and my value eight game a week Premier sports NRL.
