It's probably a sign of the bitterness from some RL 'supporters' about the involvement of Dr K and the new money he's willing to put into the sport.

Personally I think it's one of the most exciting and refreshing things to have happened to the game in recent years, and hope that it inspires others to invest in RL.

Unfortunatly you'll have to put up with a lot of jealous sniping over the next few months/years.

Sky's treatment of us and Hemmings/Baldy's continual sniping at the Doc I find quite disgraceful - maybe they see us as a threat to their "favourites" ??? To$$ers !

Not defending Murdoch particularly, or denying there's room for improvement,but its a quality product.

Eddie cant stand Salford and never has. At first i was amazed we didn't get a mention but when i thought about it i wasn't surprised.

I liked the sly dig from the Slug though on Boots an all where he said "Huddersfield knew there place on the food chain and have done it properly over many years and not just tried to become a big club" talk about bitter.

Cant wait to hear Eddie and Stevo actually having to sing our praises. it will be through gritted teeth i'm sure.

Herein lies part of the problem, how would Eddie or Steveo have felt if McRae had been dragging their club to new depths, at the same time as steeling a living doing a job he wasn't interested in? Instead they choose to abuse their privileged position slating the club and its generous benefactor for trying to better themselves, even though they were being strangled by a salary cap that is merely supporting the presumed pecking order. If McRae hadn't undone so much of the good work achieved by Harrison we might be trying to "do it properly".

The sly digs and the not so subtle innuendos have been going on all season,especially from Hemmings and Stevvo.Not in the least bit surprised that they made no reference to the relaunch at all.Just another way for them to show their disdain for Salford and especially Dr Koukash or as Stevvo likes to call him "That Kooo Cash Fella"
The sooner Sky get rid of the pair of them and promote,Barry,Terry,Brian and Phil to be the faces of Skys SL coverage the better.

Not to mention Baldys go on backchat a simple "Wooden spoon to the top in one season" dig.

All these experts and pundits with their pre conceived ideas about what is possible and what isnt tends to remind me, albeit a different sport,when a certain Alan Hansen told everyone "you cant win anything with kids"and we all know how that one panned out.

Now i am not saying we will anything or even make the playoffs but records and expectations are there to be shot at and one day someone will do the totally unexpected.

Perhaps we've employed them as motivational coaches?

Eddie Hemmings is just a smug pillock with no idea about the game. I went to the world cup in 2008 where Stevo was on our trip, I have to say his pre match assessments were excellent and never far off the mark. This leads me to conclude that Stevo just likes being controversial which I have no problem with. What I do dislike is his obvious favour for some clubs and animosity towards others. Professional commentators should not show favour, but present balanced views. But then again he has been at it that long he probably thinks he is fire proof.

Dr 's comment about certain media figures ' taking the P-155' was a pretty obvious reference to Dewsbury's ex Hooker.

If any other SL clubs had announced 12 new signings in one go including the likes of Chase and Hock it would have been Sky's major talking point on Boots N All/SL Backchat etc so they must really have a downer on us.

Makes you wonder why ? Jealousy? A threat to the accepted "usual top order" given the Slug's sly comments and other snipes during this week's programmes? Don't get me wrong,Sky have done a wonderful job for RL and sport in general but it does make you wonder what influence the Wire loving scouser and Baldy have in the content of their programming - puzzling !!
