For info, we do not own the stadium, so have little control over access or the ticket office.

as far as im aware you cant pay on the gate at your ground we have been sent to the ticket office every time for the past 4 years

You can pay on the gate at ours mate. Not sure why you were sent to the office at all.

total farce getting tickets yesterday, also thought it was a bit naughty making it all ticket then charging an extra £2 on top, none of this info was on either clubs websites.
on the game though, well done on the win you were better than us in every department,and although we were unlucky with the faiumu no try,which was a try, we wouldn't have deserved it!

The stadium management company haven't got the ticketing system right, yet, imo. It isn't a classic "all-ticket" system, though, is it? You just have to buy your ticket at the ticket office (painfully slow, imo) before going to the turnstile. Looking at my ticket now, it clearly states at the bottom "Tickets £22.00 Plus Booking Fee", but all I paid was £22.00. It's been £22.00 for the home games so far this season, afaik. I don't understand what you mean by "an extra £2 on top."
Thanks for your comments on the game. I don't know why, but your lot looked out of sorts on the night. A "normal" Huddersfield performance would have won that game. Better luck on Monday.

that was a normal performance from us,going by our recent good friday debacles!
as for the tickets thing, there was no pay on the gate facility therefore it was all ticket, a lot of people arrived at the ground 30 minutes before kick off,walked to the turnstiles with £20 in hand ready to pay but were sent away and told to go to the ticket office as that was the only way to gain entry. on our website it said tickets were £20 for the north stand,so i assume as did most people it would be £20 on the gate.
there was nothing on either clubs website stating that the price would increase by £2 on the day and that we had to buy a ticket prior to the game.
our fans expected stand in the north stand and pay £20 for it as per the information on our official website.

i hope you get it sorted out quickly as even though we only brought a few hundred it still caused a lot of problems.
