Every single f**king season

First game I've missed for a while and whilst I'm absolutely gutted about the result I've got to admit to having half expected it. A golden opportunity missed against a team who no matter how badly they play, we always manage to play worse. Seems that naive defending once again cost us dear. Will be interesting to see how we respond against Saints next time out.

[iI honestly feel we were dragged down to there level this afternoon.

The Castleford Tiger's game plan was quite obvious from the start, and it worked well for them.

The Reds were at times very good in attack but once again our defence at times was pretty woeful and with no disrepect intended to the Tiger there's was pretty crap at times to.

This was another game in which we should have taken the two points and to be honest we only have ourselves to blame for being mugged at the whistle.

Both teams were crap today, it was a very poor match, even the ref looked like he couldn't careless or has read all the rules. Both teams dropped the ball gave forward passes (only one side caught) poor passing and tackling and only now and then somebody (Danny Orr) would make a decision.
It was a poor game to lose, so Cas are our bogey team, then again we rarely win in Yorkshire for some reason we just stop playing, hard to believe our last two games we beat two teams in the top 4, typical Salford, we should have ignored how Cas were playing and played our own game.

Can't see we have anyone to blame but ourselves - in the first half we dropped the ball on 5 consecutive sets of 6 - do that and you'll lose !

Salford beat themselves today, 2 points literally chucked away.

No offenece to Cas, but to let them put 34 points passed us is a joke.
Our defence is atrocious and we were bound to come unstuck at some stage.
You cant have basketball scores each week and hope to come out on top every time.
The try before half time should have been a warning but did they heed it no and yet again let a player take the high ball totally unopposed.
Matty Smith can go to Wigan if thats the way he is going to play.
A young lad who only trained on Friday after being injured and in fact still not match fit needed Smith to take control and help him out, he did neither.
Finally why do we let Rangi Chase take total control every time we play them ?

Agree 100%.That,the countless knock-ons,the penalty count and the 6 macho-males all made for a pretty miserable afternoon.

Well done the Salford supporter in the faded yellow (?) shirt who did a better job than the stewards while the rest of us were stood in total disbelief as to how once again we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

If Rangi took control today then danny orr must have took the preverbial p1ss! Between you lot, us & wakey, there isn't much difference really. Thus the high scoring games going either way will happen.

I think your coach got it right when he called it a "disgusting" game of rugby league. The first half in particular from both sides was simply awful. Both sides blew good leads and neither one really deserved to win.

We didn't really lose the game in the last 5 minutes, we blew it in the first half.

Cas were playing with absolutely no confidence. Dropped balls, crowd on edge, a player sin binned, we score two tries and should have gone on to kill them off. Instead we let them get the 2 tries before half time, enabling them to go into the sheds on the front foot. Amateurish is the best I can describe it as...
