| Watching Sam Tomkins last night I realised just how far Richie is behind in his development.
Tomkins was only a reserve when Richie played in the England game against France, can you see that happening now.
I have enjoyed watching Myler in NL1 and also at the beginning of the season, good luck to him as I really do think he will need it at Warrington.
The futures bright the futures Stefan

Isnt all this illegal ?
Plus he was a special guest at the Oasis concert in Heaton Park of the same bloke.
The RFL need to seriously look into this.

I don't think there's any rule breaking involved if Club A has given Club B permission to court the player.

| Its a toss up between Mylergate and the Stadium issue as to which is the most tedious story. However i know which one is most important to Salford RLFC and its future and its not the bloke who will be plying his trade in primrose and blue next year..leave him in the reserves until he has moved on he is not part of our future.

| I have no doubt that in the 30+ yrs i`ve watched Salford Myler is the best young prospect i have seen. If and it`s a small if it seems we keep him he would be the man to build a team around. I saw the Reserves Friday and whilst he didnt have a great game some of the touches he had showed the quality he has.
If he goes I for one will be sad but remain confident that JW and the board will use the money wisely, after all the money from our crowds aint gonna increase our Cap for next year !
Then we can look to build a team around the likes of Steff & Adamson and address our obvious lack of speed and guile in the backs.
As for the other one, Turner, he had a mare !!! Slightly off topic but what sort of fee can we expect for him anyone any idea ?

| When the contract was offered Offiah was forever in the papers talking about Myler. The club said they offered him a record contract. If they didn't then you'd think that this would have come out then wouldn't you. Maybe Myler has realised that he and Offiah have made him public enemy number one and is trying to deflect. That's my theory. Word of advice to him though. Play out of your skin til your last game and you would have had our respect (like Hodgy). Unfortunately he stopped letting his rugby do the talking and allowed his agent to instead. No sympathy and no respect from me I'm afraid.

| Myler has failed to appreciate the club and fans that took a chance when Widnes folded.
He was offered a reasonable deal, if he wasn't Offiah would have been in the papers saying that the offer was an insult.
He has bags of potential, but shouldn't be the top earner, the contract should have bonuses built into to that would have enabled him to become the top earner.
Bored by this silly boy and his publicity seeking agent. There must be a reality show Offiah hasn't pimped himself for out there somewhere. .

Tomkins is playing behind a much better pack in a much better side that is currently going reasonably well.
It's not really surprising he looks better than Myler ATM.

| His mind was made up a long time ago. He wanted to leave the day the National coach went back into club Rugby.

| Well, young Richie is going to have a lot of pressure put on him. He's a cocky young thing so hopefully he will fulfill his potential like Andy Greg or Shaun Edwards.
I was talking to The Penrith Panthers coach a few years ago in Oz and we got talking about Pommie players that were successful playing in The NRL: and there were some very good Poms, Stevo, Mal Reilly, Ellery Hanley and Bill Ashurst etc: But he said the guy that stood out by a country mile was Shaun Edwards.
He said that at the time there were some real biff merchants (some older hardcases and big names) around at that time, and he recalled Edwards' debut saying that some of these guys were out to "do" this young Pom, but he went out, played well, took hit after hit (some legal some not) and still played everyone else off the park.
I fear Richie may get some similar "attention" in the early fixtures, and I just hope he come s out of it as well as Shaun Edwards did.
It's the old "tall Poppy syndrome".

If as stated by wire fans in the know, that we’ve got over a quarter of a million for the lad, then roll on next season. Stef has slotted straight into the 7 position anyway so I don’t know why we’re bothered.Players come players go.
The ‘Posioned Chalice’ for me and I’m sure many other Reds is the stadium issue,as this was the reason we got the franchise last year. The ‘Iconic’ proposed stadium got us the nod,not young lads with potential who’ve only just started their career.
