| I've heard some reservations about the terracing ends but I've been in similar ends at Burton's Pirelli Stadium and Chester's Deva Stadium...

I have visited both stadiums and stood in the terraces behind the goals (chester's is now seated though) and found that the views were good and the acoustics excellent. If ours hold 2000 each then they will be bigger as well.
I'm looking forward to having an 'end' if I'm honest.

Now I think having an "end" is a complete nightmare. I hate it when we are away and stuck at the end of the ground. The view is crap and despite what bobby thinks you miss alot (if not all) of the depth of play.
The Shed was famous for it atmopshere which spilled onto the pitch. The club are going to lose that.

But what we lose in atmosphere we'll get back in the form of jester hats and a drum.

Agreed 100 %
Just to add you don't see the Reds to much in attack as the game is always at the other end.
I really want the side of the ground but I don't want to sit

We all have to embrace the change to make the stadium a success
You have to ask yourself what's the priority for you watching from the side or standing watching a game
Personally I find it very hard to sit and watch any sport which is exciting so it was an obvious choice for me to stand.

| I tried watching the game from behind the sticks at the willows and couldnt do it, thats why I got a seat in the west stand at the new stadium if I have to sit then I have to sit to watch the game in full view like in the shed (but without that damn post in the way)

| I said a while back that this would be a problem for both Saints and Salford. Changing the hardcore support to behind the sticks. Half will move and half won't. It could ruin the atmosphere.

| Let's hope they don't employee the security gaurd who is working on the site today who just tried to physically stop me going down the public footpath on my bike.
Those new floodlights are impressive, just a question though are they putting the others in later on in the build or are they going to be on the big main stand?.
Something did occur to me today but are people who are traveling from the Irlam end of the A57 by car going to be able to turn into the ground or are they going to have to go to the motorway and use the roundabout? would be good if there was a way for the buses headed back towards Eccles and then Manchester to turn there so they can pick up directly outside the ground, thus making transport easier than say Wigan where there is one hell of a schlep from the town centre.

Would be daft not to use langdon rd to ferry shuttle buses to and from the Trafford centre imo, no car access just on foot n shuttle bus ??
How big are a shuttle bus smaller than an average single Decker?

In thepry if you look on the map it's a great idea but in reality it's way to narrow a road to do that, runs right through the middle of the new little estate down there. Would also imagine that the fact it runs under the motorway bridge might create problems with safety if vehicles hit any of the supports.
