Good player as he undoubtedly is I'd hope we were never really looking at him seriously. Think we have greater potential already at the club in Evalds or maybe Snyed with the right encouragement and training.
I know not everyone agrees but I'd prefer to see Greg Eden as he for me is one of the most skillful attacking players going forward and not as bad as people say in defence.

I'm not claiming we're going to be challenging? I never have I'm talking about what our owner wants, he has the money and now the expertise on board to take us to the top. Look at Catalan we should be aiming to do what they've done in terms of high table finishes and having a good solid team. |

To have a good solid team means you need workhorses, utilities, specialists, and fillers.
You can't have a team of world-class players in every position and interchange. Hanbury would have been the type of player for us to take another step-up the ladder and it's stupid to say otherwise. |

I personally think that was as funny as piles on a long bike ride.
As someone else said Dougie Laughton had shares in manila envelopes there were that many flying around in the 80's and 90's in Widnes. I guess when comments like that surface from other teams fans it's a sign of envy or could in this case be care in the community failing us all again. |

No totally different sports. a winger in rugby league club could be top try scorer but not neseserilly the best player, Dorn was a support player who finished off breaks other than that he was average. |
