Check you, for hard to please. The point is we have a terrible defence and this guy bases a large amount of his coaching on aggressive defence. Additionally, two of the biggest names in RL would, definitely, get the people talking about Salford Reds.

We don't want someone who was a good player unless he's a proven top quality coach; we certainly don't want someone because we like him; we don't want Kear because I don't like him!Not really sure why,just gut feel.
Seriously,I would prefer Noble to Kear.

is ricky stewert on short list or are we clutching to hope. i cant see us attacting a top class coach as stewert and cant see him working with steve simms. and also dont see veivers being appointed if the club want a top coach. Again the club never bring in a big name one we aint attractive propasition and 2 we only have small budget so cant see it being a big name at this time.

I don't think Gentle or Wrigley or the others will do that, Hanley would be the name,but I am not sure he would

I would love ricky stewert to get the job but like i say are we an attractive proposition for ricky stewert and i say again i do not think we could afford him. He would be a great aquasition though but like most poeople i have a sneaky feel for millward and yet again steve simms having his own way. according to advertiser we only have to wait a week . Talking of which when is the announcement of the franchise made? if we are not going to make that announcement till then we could have pi$$ed away thr farewell season at the Willows.

If we conducted interviews by Skpe and it went wrong there would be the usual posters telling us how unprofessional the club are.

Interviews need to be face to face to see if these candidates genuinely want to come and whether they fit in with what the club are trying to achieve, doing this via Skpe isn't ideal.

I would say if the club want to progress and intend to appoint a coach for more than 12 months then that has to be no to both Noble and Kerr. We need new blood and ideas. I hope the club give the coach freedom to appoint staff for the first team including conditioner etc.
