I'd estimate at close to 1800. So 3000 salford fans on a nice friday night with no snow ice or other natural disaster to get in the way.

I think you will find that there were no more than 550 Hull fans at most behind the sticks. Two of us did a quick guestimate during a lull in the first half.

How do you know that I don't hold a Business qualification or have a successful business. Seems as you have never met me or know me I can safely say you don't. Yet you still make your assumption.

Because if you had run a successful business ( most fail early on, and very few last forever ) and were still running one now , you would have a better idea of the problems he will be going through at the moment, and therefore would be a lot less critical of him on these boards

As for holding a ' qualification ' , that means nothing, just as having a ' qualification ' in nursing doesn't make you a nurse, doing the job is what makes you what you are

How do you know i don`t or have ran a business,Oh you see i always thought you needed qualifications to actually become a Nurse, and yet you come on here and criticise Fungus on this board,so maybe if you actually knew Fungus you would be a lot less critical of him, double standards aye.

I havent suggested anything about you, I was reffering to FTMM, and yes you do need qualifications to become a nurse, but you also need to build up your experience levels to actually ' nurse ', and just having the qualification doesn't neccessarily make you a good one

Business is different, you dont need any qualifications, but you do need courage, brains, determination and luck, and unless you have tried/done it, then any criticism of those who have done it, and have been as sucessful as John Wikinson at it , doesn't ' wash ' , in fact those that have done it rarely criticise others who have , or even those that have done it but eventually failed at it

And for the record, there is no qualification or experience that can prepare anybody to run a sports club, especially one of the size of Salford in relation to others both in RL and in other sports, especially for the length of time Mr Wilkinson has been at Salford

The debts reported haven't been run up in a few weeks, so Mr Wilkinson has been personally supporting the Willows for a long time, quite possibly for a few years, would you have been happier for him to have let it close down while Salford were still playing there?

Starburg talks far more sense than you do MM and expresses himself too.

When you have had a crack at running a business employing hundreds of Salfordians over many, many years - putting bread on their table - I will listen to your argument.

Typically British - when you are down you get kicked and I for one feel for the Chairman at the moment.

DI & MM may get their wish shortly as the Chairman cant keep taking knocks like this at his age. I still fear the worst as I expressed last month and unless we find a Fairy Godfather in the next two years I would expect John to walk away and I would not blame him one iota.

Well you're not very bloody good at it. There was definitely around 1,800 Hull fans in that end. How you can conclude at around 550 is beyond me.

Try counting them like we did. Its not that hard. If there are any photos of that end , spend a little time examining them. And by the way, I do estimating for a living..

There were far more than 550 Hull fans there!! The stand holds 2/2.5k, can't remember which, but either way, it seemed well over three-quarters full. There must have been 1500 in there at the very bare minimum.

If you do estimating for a living, please tell me who for, so I never use them. I was stood in the South Stand looking over, Hull had slightly more in there than Cas did who brought around 1,500. Considering the capacity of the terrace and how many people were in it there were definitely a lot, lot more than 550.

I thought The Willows was Mrs W and Tina's business not the Chairman?

I think it is worrying that another revenue stream for the RL club is gone.

It is also the 2nd failure for the Chairman after Red City.

The day JW walks away isn't that far. We need to get as self supporting as we can by the time he does.

Like I say. If you dont trust me ...Try doing a quick head count yourself. Its really fairly easy.
Anyway its not worth arguing about so I will call an end to this difference of oppinion now.
