Very well put and I have to say anyone who has progressed from Jack and Jill books would understand what you are saying.
It's very fair to say that as well as Salford pretty much most other rugby league clubs Chairmen and directors are in the same boat.After all why would you seriously want to throw money at a club where you will receive no assets in exchange and then have to continue funding what is a bottomless pit unless of course as Lyrad Red has rightly stated, they also have a bottomless pit.
Those people that do have to be admired and that's what makes them chairmen and directors and us mere spectators.It's easy to forget that when times are hard and easy to use these people as an excuse, that said they do have to accept that in certain circumstances it is their decisions that ultimatley take the clubs in a certain direction.
It wasn't all that long ago that John Wilkinson was the best thing since sliced bread way back when he was trying to build the club it's own new stadium,unfortunatly that was beyond him and his board but credit to the man for at least securing the next best thing.

Love him or loathe him DI regularly shoots from the hip and some would say he's The Scarlet Turkeys No1 . . . . .

Well Lyrad Dikkhead is back having been reeled in again pouring his love fested heart out for the The Wilkie And Tarry Show.

Its amazing how your still up until 01.43am losing sleep, because of someone who knows very little about nothing. You remind me of an IJIT who lingers on this forum from time to time.

Also to put the record straight i do call myself a fan, and i'm certainly not out of touch like the hierachy. An 8000 average attendance looks massively out of touch, we cannnot even break 3000 for our 1st game at the new stadium.

It was the highest attendance of the day - which also included a game between the Championship winning club and Hull KR with their reputed travelling hordes.
It was also on a re-arranged date which would have proved quite expensive if some fans were also taking in the
City v. United game;some may have been dragged to the sales and some may have preferred to stay away until the bigger event,when the season starts.
They may also have worked out that the coaching staff would display tactical nous when playing against a club
which has employed the coach of Castleford on two previous occasions,Ian Millward,and not give away any hints as to how the Reds will perform on February 4th - all he will have learned is that we were passionless and extremely poor.
I would have thought having the longest serving chairman/owner in Super League is something to celebrate.
There are worse situations for some rugby league supporters to be in than having a new stadium and a Super League club to follow.
The Facebook site stated a marketing campaign would commence this month.I don't think negativity on here will assist...

we played the kids at fev so there wasnt going to be a massive crowd but it was your first game in a new stadium against a team close by i thought it was a very poor turnout

I must say Lyrad Red you make a fair comment. "knowledge is power". Well that proves why T.W.A.T.S (The Wilky And Tarry Show) is bottom of the pile. My so called attacks on the club are observational facts that this club has been mismanaged to the core. Apart from Sean Long, the club has the word [sizeLOSERS[/size written all over it, stemmed by the leadership of your not very knowledgable and powerless king. They won't get another penny out of me.
