I seem to recall Ennis being mentioned on the Wigan site as replacement for Riddell , seems far fetched , Ennis can be a stunning player on his day , as to him being ' uncoachable ' maybe we're building a team with so much innate talent the coach becomes as extraneous as he is now .. |

Now signing Ennis really would be a statement of intent, all other teams in super league would stand up and take notice and we would have a player that genuinely scares the opposition. In short, by far the best player we have been linked with.
So I doubt it'll ever happen. Ennis, Fielden and Patten are the three players that would have really made a difference. at least we've got one of them. I'd swap everyone else so far signed, or definitely rumoured to, for the other two.
