heavy hint to club that blue would be a good choice as an away colour next year  we've had blue away strips on at least 4 occasions , Trenchman ( Dark Blue/Yellow) Cambrian ( Sky Blue/ Black ) Joe Bloggs ( Sky Blue / Black-White) Trafford Centre 2008 ( Dark Blue/Pink )
also it's less obvious the blue's in anticipation of the arrival of the Edgeley Park- Heywood Rd mob... |

As soon as the Irishman caused the problems for Red City Developments EVERYTHING changed. The Reds now have no control. Its all up or down to the Council/Peel and if they want Blue and Red seats then thats what we will have to have. As the Meerkats say - Simples.

Well im afraid Salford has sold its soul as far as im concerned with this barton project.
Yet again the owner gets away with it.Im sick to death of fans saying what a great fella he is well hes a great fella but a 5hit chairman.Id like to know whats happened to the.
myler money? (dont tell me its been invested in the 5hite team we have)
Willows ground sale?
variety centre sale?
as he by any chance made a fortune off the red development project.?
It stinks, 30 odd years of absolute 5hit with this jolly good fella.Now were tenants in a ground shared with red and blue seats with Sale RU in our city.

If you'd care to pop down to Leigh next season there are two failed teams playing who you'd be more than welcome to go watch as without Wilkjy and a few select other investors we'd be in a similar if not worse boat.
The Myler money paid a tax bill.
The club made no money from the sale of the ground as it wasn't sold as it has gone for priority housing.
Thinki that as the variety club is privately owned the money paid for it's sale (if any has been recieved) is Wilkies to do with as he pleases, I would suspect that he will re invest it in some of his other business interests.

| I'd love to be wrong mate... but over 25 years of negativity from the club, it is difficult to wash off.
Sorry mate... but all this 'blue seat' stuff has put me on a right downer.
Plus... While certain people who are amongst the top branches of the Salford City Reds tree... then I will be forced to thinking this way.
I would love nothing more than to see a full house every week... but we need a winning mentality first... and I don't see that happening overnight.

I'm the same sort of age as you have had the same year after year of nad kicking but I think new stadium new optimsm, if it doesn't transpire then me and my poor nads are retiring from target practise. |

Absolute bull5hit.Hes had decades to sort Salford out.He put us in this position of a yoyo club.and he nearly got us to leighs stage.But salford was in a very healthy state when he took over to what we are now.The last game pulled in 10000 spectators.That proves the salford public are their to be won over but sadly the jolly good fella and DT arent reaching them or not winning people back.yes and I am hitting the road just like 7500 have in the past 30 years. |
