I can't see us signing anymore than one on top of those who are allegedly signing because we will have a full squad of about 25 players!

Now that the funding of the stadium is coming from Council/Peel, I wonder if the money that Sir Wilky and the directors had put aside for the stadium build is being used to strengthen the squad? It would certainly generate a bigger interest in the move if we're challenging for a play off berth (at least!)

Where has the money come from with poor attendances?

Exciting stuff most definitely, but is anyone else a tad worried that we have signed 5 players all aged between 28-31?

Don't want us to neglect some of the outstanding youth products we have brought through in recent seasons.

I know people will think that I'm never happy but I just hope these guys are still at the peak of their careers, rather than slightly past-it.

I'm worried about Nero and Paleassina, although props do sometimes come good when there about 30-35, I'm also worried that if Patten doesn't produce in the first few games our fans might turn on him.

Must admit I am not pressing the giddy button just yet in regards to next season.

I was thinking that before. I feel as if we'll be going into next season as confident as since...well, 2007. And we all know what happened that year...

Not to say I'm expecting the worst - I'm pretty optimistic for next year with the players we're bringing in. I'm just cautious in that optimism.
