All I know is what I've been told ,I know NOWT about the Legal side of the agreement or what it states ,I respect Marwan but feel he is being a tad pedantic by this Clause however I believe what I have been told, it will be very interesting to see the outcome.

As both Salford and Leigh are claiming the rights in this (and Leigh citing that Chelsea incident where an ex-goalie played despite a similar clause), it's no wonder RL HQ are taking legal advice. The only winner will be the solicitor's wallets.
Of course, we have the Leeds match before and chances of further disciplinary matters. Not that I would ever think of any bias in RL HQ re Salford.

I am a huge Koukash fan, but in the past months he has targeted Brierley, a friendly was cancelled, announced Hock to Leigh when the press conference was called the following day, and announcing Hock wont play after the draw. I think that's driving current events, which is a shame.

If they seriously thought Hock was going to breach any agreement within his departure package,then they'd issue an injunction and you don't mess with those.
They will come to an agreement beforehand because I don't see Hock simply ignoring it.

The best part of all this is the Leigh fans getting their knickers in a twist as if Koukash has a vendetta against Leigh. This clause and subsequent agreement was signed prior to Hock signing for them, so unless Marwan has a crystal ball how could he have predicted this would become such an issue so soon?

As a Salford fan, I am glad he did include such a clause. If Hock had of signed for a rival club such as Hull KR who we haven't played yet, it would have meant he missed both crucial games against us this season. Games which would be the difference between being in the top 8 or bottom 4. It made perfect sense.

Yes the deal could involve Ryan Brierley eventually fulfilling his lifetime ambition of joining his hometown club.
