Quote Dantes Inferno="Dantes Inferno"For goodness sake, stop mentioning if it was'nt for JW we would be elsewhere. We would never know. We could say the same thing about other chairman in superleague. If it was'nt for him we'd be here or there. SO WHAT HE.S KEPT US AFLOAT WOW. Talk about putting the same point across LOOK AT YOURSELVES.
As for your other point regarding passion. So because he is passionate we cannot question his runnings of the club. Give me a break its amateur, and we deserve to be where we are.'"
It's not a matter of mentioning it. It's a matter of helping you understand the situation, which you still clearly don't. You need to understand that were not defending JW's running of the club. Not for one minute am I saying you can't question that, and perhap's if it had not been mismanaged we may not find ourselves in the position were in today. I'm simply pointing out that without this very man and his cash the club would have entered into administration. That isn't an "if or a "but" it's a fact. The club is losing money, he does not have to put his hand in his own pocket to keep it afloat, and that goes for the rest of the board. Could they not afford nor wish to put anymore money into the club then we would announce insolvency and enter into administration and possibly forfeit our position in SL. With that being said and as I've mentioned before had money not been ploughed into the club in 07/08 (when our debt spiralled) then Widnes would have scraped it over ourselves.
"So what he's kept us afloat!" - exactly what planet are your from. That's a pretty big factor were having a club to support is concerned.... I can't believe I'm having to retort to such a low form of intelligence and such narrow minded comment's.
I refer to your earlier comment's
"Yeah the chairman may of put is hand in his own pocket on a few occasions but what salford fan would'nt in his position"
This is what is referred to as passion - the very thing you think has no bearing on the club has kept it "afloat" had he followed his head and not his heart he wouldn't have put money into a losing business and as mentioned we would have become insolvent....got it ?
No one is going to step in and replace him unless:
(i) They are uber rich and can immediately right off the £4,000,000 debt to start a fresh.
(ii) Are as passionate about SCR to do the above.
I agree we need a younger sharper minded individual, but we need someone who is mad enough to do the above, you reckon thats likely in today's climate - not a very appealing preposition is it, and that's the the problem with your tirade of "JW out" - He can't be replaced
If he was'nt making any money from salford he would'nt be doing it, come on. He certainly is'nt doing it out the goodness of is heart. (although he would want us to think that.).-
Haha, how misguided are you, that's exactly what he's doing, but you actually contradict your first comment here - one minute he puts he hand in his pocket, the next he's making a profit - which one is it ?
As referred to earlier - you say you have no vendetta, however comments like that say different - JW has a hidden agenda? What would that be? to lose money at SCR's
I hope this finally get's through what appear's to be a 6 inch thick skull. It really isn't that hard to comprehend, and just before you go off on one please try and grasp the fact that WE AGREE the club should have been managed better especially by JW and that just because he's put his hand in his pocket it doesn't exclude him from CONSTRUCTIVE criticism however before you call for him to be replaced or leave SCR's please RE-READ the above, again...and again,,,
