Quote: theredshed "Come on stop exaggerating it's some extra revenue from one home match not three. The Magic fixture is a shared gate between all teams and it wouldn't matter who Hull FC played. I'm sure Leigh's first visit to Magic will attract a lot of Leythers to make up for Rovers not being there next year. I doubt Adam Pearson will be losing any sleep over some extra ticket sales, especially after his Wembley windfall this year. I'm sure he'll be more than compensated with Hull having all the high ground and the extra publicity and profile in the city next year. Furthermore the potentially damaging banana skin of losing to Rovers in one of these derby matches isn’t something Pearson has to concern himself about in 2017.'"
Rovers sold less than a 1000 tickets for this years magic weekend I know someone who works in the shop and they get the info on how many tickets each club sells so no real loss there I would bet Leigh take more than that with it been their first magic, its our home game against KR which will suffer but if we get Melbourne at home start of year that could be a real money spinner for us so not all doom and gloom
