| Let's hope this is the start of the new Salford. Going forward we need players with charactor and pride in their hearts pulling the red jersey's over their heads.

Nobody has mentioned this on our forum, not even rumoured.
Would be a surprise if this was true!

| Good luck to Gaz O brien. .... glad he's there now you have offloaded the nobs..
.a good player and a 100%er can't knock him.
For the guy that doesn't want joel give your head a wobble. He got to 100 tries almost as quick as Brian Bevan. ...a try a game guaranteed ...and I saw BJB play recently. .... deary me... awful player.

He'd probably do OK for us but we have signed so many big name senior players like this over the years who have been about a game away from the knackers yard. You have to ask why are Warrington letting him go? Classic car but you've traded in for the Linham GTI because of reliablity and high running costs factors perhaps?

Not played much for us this year, looks too heavy and not having the impact he did off the bench 12 months earlier.
Good luck to him for his future.

I actually think he could be a good signing for us.
I'm still of the belief we have paid a fee and the acute wording of that press release reinforces what I've been told.

| I'd be very, very surprised if Salford paid a fee for Phil Joseph considering Phil, the club and the fans knew he was being released and had no future at Widnes nearly two months ago... However, i thought it was a done deal that he was signing for Wakefield.
Phil for all his effort isn't very good. Phil gives way too many daft penalties away (6 penalties in his 9 games played this season) and doesn't make very good metres.

I've never been overly impressed either, but I'm willing to bank that Sheens knows better than you or I. So I'll trust that he'll get him in shape and get some decent performances out of him.

No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent.: |
|
| I get the impression that Ian Watson is hugely admired and trusted.
He has coached Phil Joseph and Gaz O'Brien at Swinton and Kopcsak has been in the Welsh squad at the same time.

I would guess Watson had more say in this signing, Joseph had two spells with swinton including 2011 when watson was player coach.
Always caused us trouble,
Overall happy with signings .most have either been coached by sheens, or played with watson
Team, not money, Krasniqi retained, we're almost behaving sensibly.

You're probably right.
I feel the same about the signings. I'm quite happy that we seem to be signing players rather than 'personalities' that happen to be players.

| not overly excited by the players signed tbh, guess that's because of 'the names' we've been used to. However quite a good balance. Would like to expect a smattering of a bit more quality as well to top it off and an interview with Tim about why certain players have been signed up.
