| Not disappointed by this move at all - Hookers need to be spelled unless you are James Roby.

| After a bit of thought, I take back my initial reaction.
He's always given his all and he's still a good hooker. Certainly will give us the two hookers we need at the moment. You can't really say anything bad about a guy that says he can't wait to put the shirt on again.

| It's not like clubs will be jumping at the bit to let even reserve hookers be cup tied for another team either.

| I was surprised when we let him him go. Is he the greatest hooker in the world? No, but his energy, enthusiasm and, most importantly, understanding what the club had been through would have been essential to building the team.
I'm not saying every player who was on the books during the financial crisis should have been kept on, but more of a nucleus should have been retained and along with Jewitt and Broughton, he would been a good choice. I firmly believe Godwin's character would definitely have helped with the transition, if nothing else he'd have proved a more able deputy than Howarth.
Anyway, if he shows the same level of effort as last time round, he should be a welcomed addition.

| If only one thing is for certain from Wagga, it’s that he will give nothing short than a 110% when wearing that Salford shirt.

| Salford ran Hood for the 80 Leeds game and it showed. and with injuries & suspensions we're down to the 17 that are fit play. we cannot keep doing that until Chase returns or Lee recovers, we need an experience out & out Hooker to spell him.
We've got Leigh- Cas- Hull - Giants & Wire.
He's 33 and judging by the friendly we played at the Rams has kept himself trim .
some of Harris recruitment has been leftfield , lets hope this is a Josh Griffin , not a Michael Platt hunch.

| Jeez, Michael Platt. Who were we playing against at home last year when he turned like the Titanic? I see he is starring for Leigh nowadays

He's been putting in some good performances for Leigh. Granted, at a level below where he was playing for Salford, but a decent signing for us.

And there lies the difference. Hopefully come the second stanza on Saturday out superior class and fitness will shine through once Leigh start getting down hearted and tired

| There was a decent hooker in Harry Files, as there was with his brother, Adam. Neither are now with the club and neither can really explain why they were excluded. Adam is now with Oldham, while Harry chose to return to his roots at Woolston, giving up a professional contract for the chance to play rugby league. My mind boggles at the way pro clubs treat young players who have both talent and aspirations.

Sad but you can only see that it is down too projected talent, you always hope that the club are proven wrong, though it's not often they unfortunately.

Well it should have done. Fortunately a few things went our way on the day, and while you never want to see players injured, you losing Dobson had a massive impact. Thankfully, we were just about good enough to take advantage. During the interview after the game, Beswick pointed out the difference between winning a one off game on the day, and playing SL teams week in week out. So while some fans may get carried away, sounds like the players' feet are still on the ground.
Please never use the word stanza again. Next you'll be asking for something different - a chip over the top!
