Meanwhile, Catalans Dragons’ coach Laurent Frayssinous is unhappy that Salford forward Lama Tasi escaped a charge following Saturday’s clash between the teams which ended in a draw.
Frayssinous was angered by Tasi’s tackle which left Todd Carney with a broken rib.
Referee Phil Bentham ruled that Tasi was committed to the tackle and his stance has been supported by the panel.
Frayssinous said: "That is ridiculous. I've got my best player out for a month and there is no charge. They have said the contact was accidental but they must be kidding. It was definitely deliberate.
“Lama Tasi should be out for two months. I need to give the chairman of the panel a ring."
If Lami Tasi had been charged it would have set a ridiculous precedent. Basically every defending player would then potentially be at risk of a ban should the attacking player release the ball a nano second before impact.
February 2013 - Laurent Frayssinous: "We won't tell Julian what he has done is wrong. I don't think it is a late challenge, but just perhaps the timing is out a little."
March 2015 – Laurent Frayssinous: “"I expect Tasi to be charged but I also thought he should have been shown a card."
Surely not double standards, Monsieur Frayssinous?
"“Lama Tasi should be out for two months. I need to give the chairman of the panel a ring."
"I hope my £500 (fine) will help the referee to be better next week. I am very angry because every week I have to take apologies from the referee."

So he has the influence to change the panel's decision and thinks paying a fine will act as an incentive to the referee? Suprised he has not copped a further penalty.
