| There are some good points being made here but it is unlikely Marwan will change.

| I'm with Chico on this. I wish he'd shut the hell up a lot of the time but what can you do. I think he's got the best intentions at heart, he just goes about them in the wrong ways.

| The silence is deafening , i'm not surprised he's totally frustrated , we all are !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But its his money and hes not used to coming second best , after Sat we all had increased expectations only to have them shattered , that defeat has put us back months off the field , fan base etc etc , we need to hear from him and quick because saying nothing is saying everything im afraid and that would be a disaster !

| I support Wakefield and until very recently we were a very similar club to Salford - perhaps we were a little better on the pitch (just) quite bit worse off it.
Now I 'm not here to boast, I am fully aware of our place in the food chain and how quickly the wheels could fall off our wagon.
However there has always been one principle or method or whatever you want to call it that we seem to have stood by since we arrived in SL - that's avoiding big name signings - mainly I confess because we have never had any money but also because of a deep mistrust of "name" players by both fans and the club.
We have had a few well known players but most were past their best or in some way damaged with the possible exception of Solomona. The rest were trawled from A teams, top academies, second grade Aussies and National League players. With very few exceptions they have done us proud and most became better player and some went right to the very top after making their names with us. We have not done so well with our own Academy but rather like the first team they have mainly been teams of leftovers.
Anyway my point is that IMHO this is how Salford should go. Grow a team - however unlike us you have the luxury of keeping the players you create and adding that bit of sparkle when you can. I so envy you this, we will never build a winning team because the vultures will pick at us every time we get near.
It will take a while and won't suit the Docs personality but it's the only way IMHO. Big name players suit clubs like Saints who have a winning culture, you need to build the culture first.
Finally get a decent Coach - that has to be the first step.

For the record, he hasn't said that he's packing anything in...
Last night, I said "I've had enough", left my seat and headed for the car
I was extremely pi$$ed at what I was watching but had only had enough of watching anymore, never in my head was I walking away completely..
The mad Marwan really should've clarified afterwards but instead has left all and sundry to gossip and doom monger

| There's a time and a place,
Last year when E McManus had a rant the people and Saints players sat up and listened due to his stature in the game and town.
Any line of work would be the same , if my long standing boss kicked off I'd probably take notice, but if some new upstart came in and started ranting I'd just think he has a knob.
Second game of the season after a decent performance last week is probably not the time to spit the dummy

This is his 3rd full season in charge though, so it's not like he's only been here 5 minutes.
And at the end of the day, he is the boss! How long he's been there for is totally irrelevant! He calls the shots!

Totally agree with that though.
People need to chill the eff out!

| Problem is it's been an historically fragile situation following Salford and it 's quite easy to break people's spirits. It's like a wound that won't heal despite paying top dollar for the best medical treatment.

| Perhaps the following tweet from
@Ryano_ActionMan might also go someway to answer his feelings.
"@Drmar Told you Harris is a fat useless lying shi-t coach f--ktard.
Maybe you Should Send Him To Work With Your Buddies At ISIS"
The last sentence came on the same night a presentation was made to the late Alan Hennings children and it's absolutely unbelievable.
I know it's been reported to twitter and I've forwarded it via email to the RFL.
I just hope the person responsible is made accountable for this.

| There were similar sentiments expressed in the Comments section in the MEN under one of the latest Neil Barker pieces.

| The longer any new comment from the club takes the longer I fear he's having a struggle with himself about what he plans to do.

| I had stopped coming on this forum for a long time as there appeared to be a lot of people (not always Salford supporters) that were just plain dishonest and totally unrealistic.
I have been privy to a lot of inside goings on in the past with our club (some good and not so good) and been asked to make representations on behalf of certain players at such times, but both I and my family always considered either discussing (or in this day and age "sharing" on social media), any information that players and officials may have chosen to impart for whatever reason either personal or otherwise not to be repeated. I don't subscribe to "Twitter", but having spoken to my son after him reading tweets posted on this forum following our defeat by Saint Helens, Dr Koukash, if his "tweets" are deemed to be "unacceptable" to us supporters, then that has to be a marker for his personal feelings for our club, first as a supporter and owner Dr Koukash is a very astute man and may be seen to "go against the grain", but that he desires success in the same way that we all do is all too obvious for all to see.
The many times that I have said "I've had enough" watching both Stockport County at Edgeley Park (as a kid) and then Salford are too numerous to mention.
I don't want the "doubters" to be wrong i just want us to play well and succeed for Dr Koukash.
Regards to all the genuine guys.

It's Ryan O'Hara, the former Canberra, Wests, Celtic & Hull KR player.
It's a shame he's retired as then he could be punished in some fashion, but then that would mean him taking responsibility for his own actions.
He seems to have a very low opinion of Iestyn Harris both as a coach and a person.
But then I think the only person Ryan O'Hara truly likes is Ryan O'Hara.

| Does he still live in the UK? If so that tweet could merit reference to Mr Plod!
