| I was disappointed with the attendance but enjoyed the game nonetheless. It was nice to see fans of other teams too... I saw Warrington and Leeds fans at the game.

| A few of us lads from KR would of liked to come down and support it, and would o'come if our team had not been playing. It's a shame it was not more, however the 1500 or so paying 20 quid still provided a good amount. Fantastic idea and really touches the heart of the community of which all of SL should support.

It wasn't the best of days to travel long distances, but anyone who didn't make it could still donate to one of thesehttps://www.gofundme.com/mvc.php?route
I thought the antics of the Swinton crowd alone were worth the admission fee, even if security wasn't amused.

| Dont understand the report that £10,000 was raised from the game. If say 1000 x £20 =£20000 and 500 concessions x £10 = £5000
plus programme sales =£25000 plus.
Does this mean the Stadium Company charged £15000 to stage the game ?

You have to remember that the number quoted as attendance would be the tickets issued by the stadium as everyone needed a ticket for enterance. This would include players tickets and also probably tickets for the Henning family also non of which would probably generate income.
Furthermore as already pointed out due to the way the match was priced two adults were better off buying one family ticket there by artificially increasing actual numbers and thus affecting the potential return.
I have it in writing from your CEO that the 10k figure related to monies generated up to Saturday and therefore a further donation may well be made in respect of program sales and raffles on the day.
The stadium company confirmed they charged nothing for the use of the facilities and no doubt your club will provide a full reconciliation of the monies in due course.

| And last night Dr K tweeted this:
"Very grateful to your support last Sunday. The club will also make a contribution and in total £20k will be given to the Henning's fund"

| UPDATE:
On Monday night Koukash was on Radio Yorkshire with Garry Schofield. On the issue of the attendance he said that he was "disappointed" with the turnout and "expected a lot more fans there".

How dare you say anything negative Are Kid, I ask the simple (though repetitive) question about his club loyalties and I get derided.
Such unswerving positivity reminds me of someone who's been missing for an age on here.

You're correct he did say he was disappointed with the attendance but he did make some very positive comments. Without listening to it all the way through again I think he said on the day he was very pleased with the way things went overall. Glad it raised a decent total for the fund.
