Looking forward to Barker's evidence that he isn't a terrible journalist. How do you define what is terrible in the eyes of the law?

His heart's in the right place. But that's about it.

I've been critical in the past about the quality of the MEN and Barker's efforts. I've softened somewhat to him as it's plain that he has a soft spot for my Club. It doesn't excuse shoddy efforts and getting all upset like a schoolgirl however.

Come on Mr B, if someone doesn't like your journalistic efforts you're going to be spending a lot of time on the phone and twitter trying to call them out.

Well well, MR in trouble. Well I back my mate Mich 100% even if he has me blocked. The MEN is less than a half the paper it used to be, regularly getting names and facts wrong and a big culprit of this is the Salford love child Barker.
Mich your buddies may tell you but I am in your camp here pal.

Just add some weight to Barkers defence, having previously raised issues regarding his journalistic skills with him in the past (face to face like grown men by the way).

He confirmed to me once he's written his report, this is sent to the editor for final editing prior to print. I have lost count the amount of times an incorrect caption has accompanied a photograph etc but these aren't Barkers issues but the editors.

Re signing news/rumours he has always got his info from club coaches, officials, players and ex players. He still does I believe, these names aren't picked out of the sky.

No. What they are is evidence of the Quantity Theory of Bellendery. The theory is that for any one group of people, there is a finite level of bellendery to go round. The trick is to concentrate that bellendery into as few members of that group as possible, thus leaving the rest of the group bellendery free.

We've struggled a bit recently, since one of our leading bellendery sinks (Red League/Mike 87) appears to have left the group, and it's led to an upsurge in bellendery at recent matches. However, djws61 has really stepped up to the plate with that thread. I'm feeling less bellenderous already. Hopefully, the South Stand will be better behaved tonight as a result.

djws61 has really put himself/herself forward for the mantle of 'Stereotypical Salford Bell-end' in the eyes of opposition fans on here. He's defecating all over the VT at the moment in the style of 'The Arrogant Salford fan' persona that we all get accused of being off Koukash haters/Cas Fans.
