As a Wigan fan I agree with what the above poster has written. I think if the RFL carry on, Dr Koukash will walk away from the game. We need more like Dr. Koukash and less of the idiots at the RFL.

He had a little rant at the RFL and detractors in general in a public forum. Liberally sprinkled with F-words. Everything he said was true, it was probably his passionate delivery that caused the discomfort at the RFL.

The bloke has grown on me to be fair, though I worry that his interviews and press conferences are a little too ad-lib considering how passionate he is about Salford and the game in general.

I don't really want to hear Dr Koukash publically mouthing off at the RFL and F'ing and blinding, and I don't think I'm in a minority - considering we all want the best for everyone.

I think as a successful business man he should be doing better than this - athough I appreciate his motives.........

I would like to see him constructively criticising, for sure, but to be seen to be working WITH the RFL publically, as opposed to trying to fight against them as this portrays. Ultimately, the best solution for all is for the RFL and Dr K to be scratchng each other's backs.

That would make investment in the game seem more appealing to other wealthy businessmen which would naturally develop the game, and perhaps make decision making within the RFL more informed.

The problem Dr K is facing IMO is that his ideas at the moment are too advanced for the stage the game is at - marquee players is a great idea but at present, clubs are strggling financially with the cap as it is, so to increase spending limits should be looked at once all SL clubs are financially more stable.

The 9's tournamenthe wants though could be the tonic for this!
