Amusing to see Michigan Red go into a meltdown every time Swinton get a mention on here.

I read Michigan Reds comments and in all fairness I can't blame him, I was very scathing in some of my comments. I did however think we had struck an accord when our paths crossed at the RL Final after the game in the Lime Bar, clearly not.
He questions why MK would want to "waste his money" well he clearly doesn't understand the individual that is MK, the developer. The site in Swinton is central in what is perceived to be the heart of the City of Salford and with ownership of that land in the hands of the local council it makes it so much more attractive than the land at Barton which of course means MK getting Peel Holdings on board as well.
Clearly and in fairness Mich hasn't been privy to Mk's full development plans for the area around the old Ambrose Barlow School site but I can confirm it encompasses much more than a 3000 seat stadium.
Mich states he fails to understand why MK would want to get involved with Swinton, although accepting that this time last year the " basket" case that was Salford was a better prospect due to them playing and in fairness I use that word loosely, in the top tier of RL in Europe which isn't difficult since there are no other alternatives in Europe. However at last nights meeting MK outlined his desire to own Swinton subject to getting his way with the development and turn them into the best team at the level they play and not ruling out the possibility of both clubs one day challenging in the top tier.

As for apologising to MK in person, well indeed when we met last night I did bring the subject up and he was gracious in my comparisons.

Far better the person who can admit to being wrong than the man who holds a grudge hey my friend Michigan.

Don't worry he's got you as a foe, so unless he's prepared to eat humble pie and read your post then I suspect the grudge may be held in perpetuity.
