| That is exactly what I’m getting at; the Dr needs to know what is going on with regards to the way we are being treated by the so called stewards, if he wants supporters to get involved in coming to the stadium then get the stewards to chill out and stop thinking because I wear a uniform I’m going to jump on the first thing I see that I don’t like.

| These rules regarding e-cigs and flags are not made by the stewards, like all rules and regulations in the ground they are made by the ground safety officer, the stewards are only there to uphold these, But the way you are spoken to by a steward is another matter.

Not true nothing to do with the stadium putting up the flags they have rules they need to follow which have been followed. they would probably appear more if I had the time/help/motivation but I dont so that is the way it is. :p

What rules do the stadium need to follow? Are you suggesting there's some law on positioning of banners in a stadium?

Where could Salford flags be put?

That lad was allowed to have his ST card back after a local MP stuck his oar in. And yet ecigs are still banned at the Ethiad. Some clubs have designated ‘vape’ zones whereas other clubs like Burnley have embraced them by selling branded versions at the ground.
As has been pointed out, ecigs have caught a lot of companies on the hop. I’ve seen a couple more people confronted by stewards in the Fans Bar about using them before they retreated and let it slide. I imagine there will be a consensus, one-way or the other, pretty soon.

They have to be professional made fire proof jobbies, they can't block gangways / exits, advertising or view of people in the stand standard stuff reaily
Quote: Iain "Where could Salford flags be put?'" '" '"
Different reaily as the current banners were created for the willows so are too big / small for areas which you could put them I did try and put little Red on the tv gantry once but it over hung the box below obstructing the view.
Ideal world design some more, measure the space job is a good one
You could put them in the North stand but its upto you to put them up take them down can't expect the stadium people to do it they have lots to do

We once got told to take banners down at Chester FC because they were prohibited by the safety officer. Kin barmy.

| Whilst we're on the subject of stewarding, me and my brother fell victim to perhaps the most jobsworthy piece of stewarding ever on Saturday!!
Around an hour or so before the game me and our kid made our way into the stadium and to The South Stand. We were literally the only people in the ground at the time. We sat down on the chairs at the front of the stand and began having a chat to kill time.
A steward came over and told us we'd have to move as these seats were designated for wheel chair users.
Fair enough if the stadium's full and there's actually people in wheelchairs wanting to sit there but an hour before kick off when there's only 2 people in the whole stadium?
We were then threatened with being ejected from the ground if we didn't move.

| I fell victim to exactly the same treatment numerous times in the hospitality suites. Absolute jobs worths that are damaging some people's match day experience over petty issues.
