| Spot on GT - over the years I've sat through far worse than last night, anyone remember 96 points at Bradford? (still a superleague record that we hold!) but I never have and never will boo the team - does anyone think that players go out intending to fail?
Bright spots last night - Seeing Dr K and the management team meeting people, can you imagine the previous incumbents doing that?, Red Square magazine - massive improvement on the previous rag.
The less said about the game the better.
BUT I know things are going to improve - keep the faith.

| Agree with both of you. I made comment on the London board that it would be a hard ask of Foran to slip into a pivotal role after one training session, and so it transpired. It's all very well bringing players in, but they will need time. Couple it with the fact that you have short term loan players coming and going doesn't help to knit together a team of lads. I said before that we'll probably start to gel the second half of the season and I'll stand by that.
Feel a bit sorry for the backroom staff who have worked hard to promote the two for one offer, the new programme, and the Dr keeping our name in the papers. Any inquisitive new fans or old returning ones will be far from impressed with the performance of the team and the reaction of some of our 'fans'.
No excuse to boo players. It does no good except alienate players and fans. It sends out all the wrong signals.

| I thought last night was a massive reality check which showed how far off the pace we are. After the Hull KR game it was a massive disappointment.
London made the most of our inability to deal with kicks, tackled very well and looked organised. They were far from brilliant, which makes the result even more worrying. I thought our forwards stood up to the London pack, but out wide we were very poor. We lacked pace, ideas and structures; though there are reasons for this the performance was not good enough for me. Only Sneyd looked up to speed outside the pack.
I will be hoping to see a much better performance at Wakefield next week. The two newcomers will be over their jet -lag and we should have been able to sort out our moves, but the team owes us a performance!
Onwards and upwards!

| Quote: GT "There's criticism and there's out and out bellendery from people who seem to think we're instantly better than we ever have been after the takeover.
We looked knackered after last week. We looked like we were struggling to gel with new arrivals and after changes to the squad. It didn't warrant the reaction of some in the stands last night.'"
GT my little red headed buddy firstly it's nice to see you have dropped the sewar language from last night, very distasteful.
You are my friend 100% correct in your comments.
How many of those who berated your team last night have the guts to enter a field of play...probability none.
Rome wasn't built in a day and no doubt when the venerable Dr actually splashes the cash and the coaching staff get a settled team results will improve.

| A key thing I saw from last night was that, for me, not only should Godwin play far more minutes but he should also be made captain! He was the only one I saw with any enthusiasm, the only one rushing to form scrums, dishing out b*llockings and trying to lift the team. Also, how Howarth & Murphy get in in front of Owen & Evalds god only knows. We will turn it around sooner rather than later & I think last weeks win masked where we are in real terms but say it loudly SALFORD REDS ARISING!!!

| The Club has to walk a fine line.
It has to hype everything to garner interest. Be that signings, potential signings, Club offers, Big changes etc Then when the event happens it turns into a damp squib due to poor performance. It seems a certain section of our fans fall for the hype time after time not realising that the Club are required to offer their propaganda to attract more money into the Club.
Things will improve on the pitch and success will come when it happens. Let's forget the awful performance and look forward instead of backwards.

| These are exciting times and nobody forgets just how close to the brink we were and how promising the future looks. Some of the fans were way out of order.
Having said all that, the worrying thing is that if you accept the players put in maximum effort,we looked so poor in every department.
If Forans job is to guide us round the pitch then Sneyd,as good as he was last week, can't be his partner. His style is not sufficiently structured or readable.
Felt sorry for Murphy, but only shortage of numbers keep him in the team.
Wilds been a good player but only the captaincy is keeping him in the team now and the second rowers are too similar.
So,I'd change the back three by playing 3 props to beef up the back and drop Wild, play Theo instead of Sneyd and make a change at full back.
I'm not sure whether Sneyd couldn't play there.
I expect to get hammered for my comments on Sneyd but I'd put money on him not being in the halves beyond the next 2 or 3 games at most

| On last nights evidence I actually agree on Sneyd & Foran, they were in all the same positions & didn't play as a pair but I thought Sneyd was the better of them last night as I'd expect given Foran had jet lag & trained for 30mins with the team. Sneyd was the only one who looked like creating a break, another plus I felt Gleeson had a good game considering he was either without a winger or was the winger.

| I have learnt over the years to know after each success there is always likely to be a big fall, however I was concerned last night by the basic errors we committed, which had nothing to do with London playing well but more to do with our application. I was also concerned at super league level surely the playing staff would arrive mid day & not attempt to be at the club hours before kick off. Maybe it is my lack of understanding but I would have thought match day at any professional level the day was all about preparation.

| Yes,the Broughton situation is ludicrous.
These guys are full time professionals.
The Clubs instructions to players clearly need to be amended

| I do worry that we don't appear to have anyone who takes control of the team on the field - Wilde isn't a bad player but he is not captain material and make me wonder if O'Dwyer has been told if he comes he's going to be captain which he looks ready made for.

| I think it will be less to do with pure coaching and far more to do with team selection and motivation.
If he puts the same team out then we will lose heavily.
He has my best wishes to succeed generally but he now has to make the most of limited resources.

| The reference earlier to a full back signing today where does this come from?
Would be nice if it were Fishiai (sp).
