| Apparently there were over 5000 there last night, though we all know how accurate attendances at the new place are
Also, adult tickets in certain sections of the West stand for their next home game are £45. Bargain

I've no idea. It was there when I went to bed and it's not currently showing in the Trash Can (where deleted posts are retained for legal reasons).

| Read a few of their comments and thye are saying the same things we have been saying.
The most encourging thing is the call for Salford Reds merchandising to be sold at the same time as Sale. They don't want to make the same mistakes.

| I deleted my post, don't worry, your mods didn't delete it.
I realised there were some unhappy people on here and didn't want to seem like a troll. For those who did read the message you'll know it was nothing against Salford, it was just feedback from last night.
To answer a few of your concerns - the supporters bar is going to have Salford or Sale memorabilia depending on who's playing. It is now going to have Salford shirts up until the night before we play Saracens.
As one of you have mentioned, whether all Sale or Salford fans like the other code or club, most of us want to work together. None of us want what happened with Stockport. If you go on our forum you won't see a single fan who wants to keep our shirts on the wall during your games. Most were actually pretty p!ssed off that it looked like they were up permanently.
Also - I think the same is going to happen with the sponsors in the stands. That's something I put in my deleted message. We did the same at Edgeley Park. Unfortunately Sale are obsessed with sponsorship and corporate fans. I say unfortunately, I suppose we wouldn't be able to get star names if we didn't have this income. As far as I am aware, having been to 2 Bury games and sat in the away end at Edgeley Park, none of the MBNA posters and what not were kept up. Stockport kept the historical names for the stands such as The Cheadle End, The Railway End whilst we called them The Printerland Stand and BMI Healthcare Stand.

I find it absolutely amazing that the Stadium Company appear to have learned little since our season started in that nothing has been done in the way of improving customer service, car parking, food outlets and their quality/quantity.
The vast majority, if not all the Sale fans have identified,as our fans did, everything that is required to give an enjoyable match day its a pity that the people who run the stadium refuse to listen to their customers.
With regards Salford City Reds our club should also take heed of what is being said by the Sale fans regarding, the club shop, bars and the provision of items showing that we are actually a Rugby League club with a long history as if we don't recognize it no one else will.

Pity we haven't come up with any historical, or even relevant, names for the stands really.

| Still think sticking the away fans into the bit closest to the sewage works and calling it the sh*t end could work. I'm sure both clubs would agree on that.
I imagine most grounds were built without stand names originally. Most are something that comes with history, named after great players and such.

Also allowing them to use club shop and set there own prices. I might give watching sale a chance as I don't just follow rugby league I love sport in general even though rugby league is favourite. I am going off rugby league slowly as there dont seem to change and are ruining our good game the Rfl.'"
I don't think Karlos, or any of the rest of us, have forgotten that we're only tenants. In fact, it's half the issue. But if you'd rather spend your money on Sale than Salford then go for it. Makes a bit of a mockery of your claims you'd rather spend the money on a family holiday, though. Seems you were just looking for an excuse to switch codes.
And I still say you'd be better off buying a dictionary with the cash, especially over watching Sale.

| Anyone know if it is stadium or club policy to charge a 10% booking fee on tickets ordered online for Salford games? There is no booking fee for Sale games.

I cannot answer your question but someone naming himself/herself Grumpy Old Shark posted the following at 11.27 yesterday - [iI also experienced a problem with ticketing ~ I wanted to get a couple of extra tickets for my daughter and a friend so tried to purchase them on-line on Thursday evening but the site was not working despite numerous attempts, so I went to SCS on Friday morning and was rather suprprised to be charged a booking fee even though I was there in person paying with cash??? - if the actual price is £22 please dont say it's £20 then charge a £2 additional fee ~ it annoys customers![/i
The Sale fans do seem to have embraced the change of venue with the best of intentions;some travel some distance for their home games and there is a distinct lack of vitriol for those who keep the club solvent despite being uprooted and their lack of success on the field more recently.
Makes a refreshing change - as a television advert for a cider drink once said.

| Have Sale now switched to your ticket sale provider?? Their e-ticketing link no longer seems to work.
