I was sad at the last game at the Willows as I knew I would not be going to the old ground again and would miss all the good times I had there.
Life moves on.
The club is in financial freefall, players leaving left right and centre and people are worried about the roof coming off the shed.

I think certain parts of the Willows would have fallen down before long anyway.

Sentimental issues aside there's very little I miss about the old place, p1$$ing into a drain, Normal Collieresque sound, the inability to get past the tunnel until the players had left the field and general shabbyness will never be missed. Naturally there are certain things that will be but life goes on and all good things come to an end but the memories will always be with us.

Bet when people first moved into the Willows there was a certain amount of dissatisfaction about things.

I personally think the atmosphere has got much better over the past few games, the stadium management company has started to get it right with the fans bar (should the new room be made permanent and become more clubhouse like pretty sure we'd all be happy) and a place gains a soul over time as memories are created and legends born.

Aye Moon definitely has all the makings of a Salford legend. When I read that though, I was thinking more along the lines of an all-time great like, off the top of my head, Mal Meninga

When the Boulevard closed there were a lot of memories went with it.Standing in the Threepenny Stand was an experience in itself. Whilst it was sad it going, in truth it was a relic from the past.The K.C. as a venue is streets ahead.People will always have fond memories of old grounds,but moving into the 21st century is the way forward.
