In the warm-up I saw the 17 who played and Josh Veivers.Who was the 19th in the squad and where was Feka ?
I don't live local and don't always find the news.

I didn't go today expecting a thumping but once again the scoreline shows Salford losing out because of the goals. Last season was the same so when will the powers at be see that investing in a quality goal kicker is key. In the past you could say that we aren't expected to score the tries for goals to matter but if the clubs aim is to be top 8 in a few years we need someone who can kick from all over the park on a regular basis. All big clubs have quality kickers who produce week in week out and under pressure, so why oh why haven't we sorted something out. If Sneyd is to be the man then he needs to be tested on the bigger scene rather than just U20's, otherwise lets get something sorted out for next season.
See if Steve Blakeley will come out of retirement  |

you fail to admit we rested nearly all our 1st team for next week, yes it nearly came back to bite us, but sorry you played our under20's squad with a few 1st teamers today! |

I'm sure the club invested in a goal kicking coach a few seasons back, under Karl Harrison I think although I may be wrong , maybe this is what DJ needs, he should be on remedial goal kicks. Danny Williams is as of yet to sign a contract and there is a young lad from Saints that is known to kick a goal or two and he's not getting a look in for them at the minute but his defense is non existent! When has that ever stopped Salford signing player of that ilk before?

There isn't many of those who developed through your academy,is there ? (Highlighted )
How many internationals did Warrington have representing them,yesterday ?
Salford were missing - Ben Gledhill,Shannan McPherson,Iafeta Palea'asina,Vinnie Anderson,Sean Gleeson and Chris Nero.
It matters more to a smaller squad when the better players are missing.

Hodgson, Bridge, Briers, Myler, Mick Monaghan, Morley, Westwood.
All those listed start in the first thirteen. |

Salford passed and moved the ball out well but with no cutting edge
defence wins matches and our young players stuck to there game plan
Granted you scored two late try's which to be honest gave you a glimmer of hope but you dont win games on hope |
