Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr:7891.jpg |

| Quote: david caesar "I can see a low crowd with it being live on Sky but the official attendance will be 7,348 as Trin do seem to have a habit of "inflating" their crowd figures
Give them some credit FFS, Trinitys crowds have been nothing short of fantastic. It's something we can only dream of I'm afriad.

| Quote: LyndsayGill "Quite the contrary , mate. Prior to the new regime taking over last year the vast majority of us Trinity fans thought the previous regime 'deflated' the attendance figures.
We're currently averaging around 8200 with all the big Misters (Leeds, Wigan, Wire etc) yet to come. How long that will hold up if the losing run continues I'm not sure. But so far it's looking good.
Having said that, I reckon Saturday will see around 6000.'"
wasn't having a go at you in particular mate others do it (including us a few years ago) eg.Huddersfield on Good Friday - if there were 7k in that ground that day I am Cristiano Ronaldo !!!

We can only dream of that figure (6000 BTW) even in our brand new shiny stadium.
Look forward to visiting again on Saturday.
Always enjoy going to Wakefield.

The bookies have Wakey on -2, which is worrying, as last time we were favourites London stuffed us (that was also on TV)
Hope that you enjoy your trip but not the result.
How many do you think will make the trip over from the dark side ?

| I think we'll lose this one tbh. TV, poor weather forecast. It's all set up to be a non-event as far as Salford go. Of course, I hope I'm drastically wrong...

Got to agree.
What’s happened to Owen is he injured? Maybe he hasn’t been performing in training who knows? but I feel for Owen as he’s done a cracking job at hooker this season Howarth has had a dip in form recently and his defence has been poor at times so if anyone had to be dropped I would of opted for Howarth. Having said that what gives Godwin the god given right to come into the team and steal anyone’s place?
If he has been dropped just because Wagga has become available then what message does this send out to our youngsters? Like I say I don’t know why he’s been left out maybe there is a reason but for me on the outside he’s been our best hooker this season.

| I'd have Owen instead of Howarth. Nothing against Howarth as I think he's done a good job just think Wagga is a better more experienced hooker & Owen is quicker from dummy half and attacks like a poor mans Roby and tackles well above his weight.

Well you may enjoy it a bit more now that there's some shelter, which by all accounts will be needed!
