Looking at the age of our hooking options and should Moore sign, if anyone was too leave I think it may be Wagga, he's had a few injuries and not getting any younger. Not saying I'd like to see him leave but it could happen.

I read in an earlier post that OWEN is out of contract this year, have the club offered him a new one yet..??
Hope this isnt a sign that we are letting another of our young starlets being allowed to be snapped up by one of the big guns!!
FEGAS has just been offered a new contract hopefully the club are also talking to OWEN !

I can confirm that Owen is only on a one year contract this season and was told to earn a new one if he got a chance. I was told this by a work colleague who is good friends with Owen's mum and her son is good friends with Gareth as they played amateur/junior RL together.

Significantly, we have to have a minimum number of club trained players in the first team squad, and we're not exactly bursting at the seams with them, so Owen is important to us on that front as well as for how he's been playing.

Hopefully the close season will see a few of Simms/Mcraes duds shipped out and a bit of faith being placed in the youngsters coming through. |
