Wilky on GMR said about 6k have been sold, then on top of that you have your season ticket holders and walk in.

I only caught a bit of john wilkys interview but did he mean 6k sold ..and THEN season tickets to add on.....or 6k INCLUDING season tickets
The thing that caught my attention, apparently we havent got a sign up at the new staidum beacuse it needs planning permission. SURELY, we could have applied and received planning permission by now??!! its been ongiong for 12 months, I think thats a poor excuse if thats the reason it hasnt been done.
Also, did anyone hear if wilky mentioned anything about our playing budget for next year?

He said 6k sold. NOT including season tickets. Don't know how many season ticket holders we have id guess around 1,000 maybe a bit more? |

If my party of folk is a barometer of attendance then it should be good.
For the last few years it's been me, brother -in law, his lad and occasionally my son ( only 7 so tend to avoid taking him to Friday eve games ) standing in our spot in the shed .
For Sunday, my dad's coming for the first time in years, my wife, son and daughter, other nephew , his girlfriend and two old mates who support Leigh !

I normally aim to turn up at the turnstyles five minutes before kick-off. Reading about the number of tickets sold has made me decide to forgo the final pint in the Lamb and turn up early. I've got to stand in "my" spot on the terraces for this final game.

Hopefully a flyer will be given out on the gate to everyone advertising the new ground, season tickets and what not. Would be criminal to miss out on this chance of promoting the club to the biggety big game reds, undecideds, lapsed fans etc.
