| This isn't the first time this season we have started off reasonably well only to fall away late in the half - Leeds away springs to mind.
At times this season we have played some breathtaking rugby , only to be followed by bouts of mediocrity.
We must understand the team IS being affected by this soap opera-esque yo-yo ing in our coaching set up. I still believe we have a good team , and I'm not throwing in the towel just yet,
Castleford are on a high , bags of confidence , settled team & coaching set -up.
They are top of the league on merit, we got beaten by the better side on the day .. we're Salford Fans , this surely can't be a surprise ?.
There are still some weird results about , Catalans , who we beat convincingly , have just beaten the two best fancied sides in league away from home ,
Harlequins, who couldn't stop winning at the start of the season , Now can't buy a win.
The common factor is confidence, ours has been knocked and we need to rebuild , and we must keep supporting the lads on the field to get our season back on track..

| From the Cas perspective, it was nice to play a team that wanted to play rugby rather than slow the game down as Catalans, Bradford and Crusaders did against us. Your team play at a decent pace and like to throw the ball around. I was quite surprised by the result yesterday - I had expected a comfortable win for us but not quite that comfortable.
Given the number of decent players in your squad though, I can't understand why you signed Palea'aesina - you get a (usually poor) drive out of him then he has to go off for a breather!

I think that's a tad obvious from the posts - and from 30-odd years of watching Salford let you down mate

| Cant even be d going on about it to much were just not good enough the players are truly dog shi!te every year its the same is it any wonder we cant attract more than 3,500 home fans at a game, something is going on behind the scene and has been for many years, yet again 50 plus points conceded, there was no passion or anything in the shirt to be honest know body looked d. We need a clear out behind the scene and fast but we all know its not going to happen.

| It could have been worse, you could have got their at 12.15 to watch the Academy role over and get 72 points put past em. then wait around for 1.5 hrs to watch the first team ship in 52 points.
How we get anyone to watch us is anyones guess, clearly we all need certifying
Still see you all Saturday !

Christ I've only just spotted that, that's shocking (70 - 20 it finished accoring to the RFL's website) 13 tries and 9 goals. A total for the day of Cas 22 tries and 17 goals to Salford 8 tries and 4 goals (122 - 40 )

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

Does that include the 56-18 victory their U18's inflicted on us at The Willows??

| I thought it was Swintons U20s who played Cas on Saturday at the Willows, that what it stated on the swinton fixture list.
