Gerry, thanks for your insightful comments, I can't be d telling you how wrong your perception is - especially on this one.

Well I hope this doesn't cause you too much dissruption for the game tomorow , but seriously there must be much more to this than you are being told because there is no way you would go and see your union rep if the only reason you had been sent home from work was because you looked poorly.
Not really followed much of your seasons form up to press, but are there alot of problems behind the scenes do you think?

I think this reflects rather well on Simms, if there are "other" factors to this than have been released think Simms is to be applauded for acting fast and hopefully ushering in a new era in of zero tollerance at the club for behind the scenes cack.

One other scenario that I definately hope is wrong that know one has mooted is that maybe Alker was against the return of SM and Simms doesn't like that? Always got the feeling there is/was no love lost between SM and Alker, just shotting the breeze but a possibility.

Interesting that you don't seem to want Alker around on coaching staff? What's happened there then? Just out of interest.

Not entirely sure many wanted him in the first place, think many know he was a destabilising influence at times during his career. We saw what Lowes was like and feel he's cut from the same cloth, know doubt he'll make a decent coach but not sure 2nd in command at this early stage of his career was a good move.

Think Paul Highton might have been a wiser choice?.
