I'd like to mention this again, I fully believe he is the best coach we've had at the club since a sober Andy Gregory. Why is he not employed to do what he's best at? Does he like the security of his directors position and doesn't want to put himself out there? If McRae doesn't come back, and please don't Shaun, rather than messing and putting new coaching structures in place, just leave Simms in charge. The next few weeks will give a good indication of just what Simms is capable of.

Currently, we've had an excellent effort against Wigan, with better execution we could have won, an apparently impressive 1st half performance against Leeds and with half our first team squad missing put KR to the sword.

I'm glad he has moved in to a role which helps to justify him being employed by the Club. An experienced Head Coach like McRae shouldn't need a DoF.

If he can organise the team to play well, which it's starting to look like he can, let's give him the job until the end of the year.

And then what happens?

Im sure when SS took over whenKH got sacked we won a coupe of games???? is record must be quite decent!

I give SM another 4 week sick note and see how simms gets on ? if does ok keep him till end of season wilky will then not be out of pocket as he's paying simms anyway?
