Hasn't this rumour done the rounds in the past 2 seasons aswell though? IIRC we were after signing him on a permanent deal when we got Goulding on loan?

This definitely won't happen.
We'd send our players out on loan because we think they need some first team SL games.
Lee has played every game this season and now with Fielden injured, if he carries on playing well, his place in the team is guaranteed. Also, he'd be a loss to the team if we sent him out imo!
