At long last Mr Done lends his hand to the Salford cause!
Often wondered why it had never happened before as it seemed logical for such a wealthy Salfordian to join forces with the Mr Salford himself.
Wasnt happy when Betfred set up their HQ in Warrington and became a sponsor of Warrington Wolves for a time (not sure if still are in some way.)
Sure I read a comment on here from a poster some time ago saying that Wilky and Done didnt get on at all. Obviously not the case then eh?

It's possible that they don't. Some business partnerships seem to work better that way.

Rumours that the club can't pay McRae off, Done comes on board, McRae given a leave of absence due to ill health. Am I putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 7 or is this a bit more than a coincidence?

He's not come on THE board - but just as a sponsor

However, sponsors want to be associated with winners.........

So just possibly a condition of putting in some cash was that there needs to be a change - but who knows?

Anyway - regardless of the fact that I've been posting a lot recently saying that Mr McRae should go - I wish him all the best in recovering from his illness I wouldn't wish ill health on anyone

Could Mr Done be positioning his business so it gets to sponsor your new stadium.

The BETFRED stadium has a certain ring to it.

The roof of the ground also would be an excellent advertising opportunity being seen not only by passing cars but landing aircraft.

Does anyone know how much this sponsorship deal is actually worth?

From my dealings with Mr Done i know he's a tight fisted git!! I've not had a pay-rise for two years and i need a new chair in my office!!

Tight, heard he lost £1 Million in a single bet for Manchester United to win the league and lost. I think he can afford to fund Salford with a stadium sponsorship if he can afford to be gambling £1 Million, has anyone ever seen the size of his Mansion in the middle of Worsley woods the guys practically broke haha.

You are either Neil Barker or Neil Keeling or both? Bet Fred advertising hoardings have been up,certainly for this season and can be seen from the Austin Truman Stand.
