| I agree with you re perpignon. However did you not think before booking for lloret about checking for train timetables etc... in advance? It just seems silly IMHO to book it and hope that someone organises a coach for you.

Its not a hope Ian, there is a coach being organised, as has been for the last couple years from Llorret by Janice(RedHazel)

3596.jpg this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning

The walk back to the train station isn't for the faint-hearted though!

Collioure is a cracking little town with a lovely beach. If you can check it out.

| Quote: The Black Cat "Point 1, answer - Because thats where a coach will be arranged from, agreed there are much better places to stay on The Costa Brava.
Point 2, answer - (a) Its too much messing about (done it and as Salford red all over states - it takes too long and it is far more expensive than arranging a coach from one departure point in one resort for around 50 people; and (b) You book said coach for a return trip straight after the game and get back to a resort in Spain which cannot be done using you're method and god only knows who the hell would want to spend a night in Perpignan!? Sorry but the place is aweful.'"
Agree that Perpinya is boring but to say it's awful as a reason to stya in Lloret is bonkers!
If any of you pass through or nearby Sant Feliu de Guíxols let me know

I didn't say that, I agreed that there were much better places to stay on the Costa Brava but if the coach is being arranged from that departure point there is no reason to stay anywhere else. Also what you have to bear in mind is Salford play Catalan well out of season (end of March) so Lloret is nothing like it is in the middle of summer, whilst there are still plenty of things to do day and night.
The only images of Perpignan I ever get and I've been every time Salford have played there (apart from the challenge cup game of which I had booked and paid to go but a certain ash cloud forbid me to travel) 5 times in all, are of dog s[ih[/iit ladened streets of which I'd certainly swap for Lloret any day of the week.
