| FWIW I think 1000 is under estimating how popular this shirt will be they could of got away with 1500-2000 mark, we have a hardcore base of 3500 BUT the reds and retail have always been an up and down market , i think the price will deter potential buyers imo although mine is already ordered  |

Fair enough by Hardcore my point was my observation is that our home support around is pretty always around the 3 thousand mark , no more obvious than when we play somebody like catalans or quins, so thats what i was getting at.
Maybe my rose tinted specs was getting carried away with the positive feedback about the shirt.

We were getting down to the 1000 mark against a couple of teams in 2003 and 2008. Watching uneventful, one-sided dross — now that's hardcore!
To be fair, what I was going to add, and didn't because I couldn't be ar sed, is that it's not necessarily the 'hardcore' that you base your sales potential on. Replica shirts are as likely to be bought by new or floating support because wearing one is the most direct, visual way to build an association. So, in theory, the club could easily sell a 1000 shirts. In theory. |
