Next season is the real acid test for McRae. On paper next years squad is arguably the strongest we've had in SL.
Continue to sruggle against teams that will be in the bottom half (Quins, Cas, Wakey, Crusaders, Catalans, Bradford) then it'll go a long way in proving that whoever plays for us McRae isn't the right man for the job. Beat these teams though, pick up a few wins against some of the big boys, maybe a cup run and a play-off spot goes a long way in proving that for the last few years our squad just hasn't been good enough and it's not all entirely McRae's fault as some of you make out.
I hope it works out for Mcrae next season. I feel too much flack has been given to him and not the players on occasions this season. He wasn't the one missing tackles and dropping balls etc. Even if we have a good season next year and make the play offs i think Mcrae will leave anyway, on a personal high for himself.
