| This year they could get the details of those arrested of cheshire police. So the club has the ability to act against these people. Something badly wrong if they don't!

He's already had a temporary ban, last season, I believe.

| What happend yesterday was a very small incident made worse by the cheshire police, and the people i would call the yellow bouncers.
I was stood right in the middle of it all with my wife and 2 boys, my little sister who is due to give birth next weekend, and her son, the police came rushing up into the stand and knocked my 4yr old son down 3 concrete steps, and pushed me and my pregnant sister out the way, i then got my familly to leave the ground straight away, backed up by a few warrington fans who witnesed the incedent i approched the police officer and told him that he just knoked over my 4 yr old son and he was out of order, after he just smacked a salford fan in the mouth for standing up for his mate who also got a good few smacks, he said it was my fault that my son got knocked over as it was my fans,( MY FANS) who were causing trouble in the ground.
So because im a salford fan my 4 yr old son deserved to be knocked down some concrete steps.
It didnt end there, i left the ground with 3 warrington fans who saw everything, when the police officer who knocked down my lad came out they then approched him and asked him to make an appolagy to me and my son, who was still cryin at that point, he then told them to go away or he will arrest them for a breach of the peace Well the one warrington fan wernt havin any of it and guess what, Yes they arrested him, dont know who he was, but have since found out that they let him go with a slap on the wrist according to his mate who was with us, told his mate to thank him from me and my familly and i hope to se him again to buy the man a drink, there is a lot more i could add to my day yesterday, including before the game, but aint got the time now.
But im sorry to say that i will no longer attend a match at the h/j stadium again, whitch is a real shame as my familly helped to build that club, my grandperants helped to start the wolf pack mr + mrs Mcevoy, my grandad has pased away and his name is placed in the wall in brian bevins eye, and my nann has her name on a seat in the ground.
And as for the wire fans that are calling salford fans get real, there were a few wire fans that got arested aswell yesterday, some, triedto help me and my family and for that i will for ever be greatfull
But on a last note, my kids love goin to salford and watchin the game, and we were supposed to be goin on monday aswell, but the kids are to scared to go, am tryin to talk them around and say it will be ok guys, nothing is gonna happen, but think its just gonna be me there on monday now
I dont blame salford or warrington fans for what happend yeterday, just the warrington club and the heavy handed police and stewards ( bounsers)

| I knew Brian McEvoy and know Evelyn. If the stewards were heavy handed then you need to report the matter to Geoff Williams at Warrington Wolves. He is the head of stadium security.

Yeah there my nann and grandad,I have already made a complaint to the club, but even they dont think they can do much, but they will look into it, wasnt happy paying £11 for my 4 yr old son aswell, give them the benefit of the doubt though they did say if i go ticket office i could get a free ticket for him, but was likely to get locked out as they were almost full, i did go towards the ticket office but there were two windows and around 3-400 waiting to get tickets, then they announced over the tannoy that all stands were sold out exept the away end then all hell broke loose everyone legged it to the away stand, then a guy with a suite and radio said to me even if i got a free ticket for him i wouldnt get in, so off we went

| Tall Red - the right thing to do here is to make a formal complaint to the police rather than the HJ stadium officials - if any of the other fans that witnessed it are prepared to stand up and be counted then they need to contact you.
Also - a Police Officer assaulting a child is a child protection issue, so as well as writing to the Chief Constable of Cheshire you should copy it to Warrington Social Services.

| If you remember the League one final at Warrington when the Bouncers were trying to be heavy handed that day, there is a real problem with the Warrington stewarding arrangements if they have to have bouncers in who do not try and calm the situation down but react with violence to any situation and make it a lot worse.
Rugby League is a family game as I have posted elsewhere about the language of one of these bouncers on Friday, they are not trained as stewards but as bullies who normally batter drunks on a Friday night for a laugh, there is no place for them in Rugby League.

There are 2 types of security in our ground. The usual stewards and M.Y.L. security, who are a wigan based company I think. Ask any of the MYL lot and they will tell you they are not stewards. So why are they there other to be heavy handed? We don't need nightclub bouncer like thugs acting as security in RL grounds. Do we?

Bartonflyer, yes a complaint has been made against the police it was done after the game, they took all my details and the details of the people who witnessed what happend, i have heared from them this morning and they have told me what happend to my son was a accident, not disputing that i know the police didnt knock him over on purpose, but wanted to get the officer to say he was sorry to my son after the incident, but because 1 or 2 salford fans were a little giddy they tared us all with the same brush, it was my fault and every other salford supporters fault that this incident happend.
From what was a very minor incident turned worse by the police, as then all the poeple stood around me then had ago at the police for the way they handled the situation, if they had just waited a few more mins for the game to end then get the people they wanted as they left the ground, all this could have been avoided.
As for the complaint to the hj that was for the way the stuards( bounsers) handled the same situation.
Just dont want everyone saying them salford fans are trouble, it was both salford and warrington fans avin ago at the police and yellow bouncers about the way they handled a minor situation.
The police said that i will recieve a writen appoligy from the officer within a week, that is all i wanted in the ground, then this thread probably wouldnt be here or on the wire forum.

The fact that it was an accident doesn't mean that it wasn't assault.
Unless the officer concerned had a lawful reason to come into contact with your son any contact made, regardless of how slight, whether resulting in injury or not, can be considered assault.
As much as I hate the Amercan-esque litigation culture that's developing in this county, I think you're being very reasonable in simply asking for an apology.
More importantly than anything in this situation though, I hope the little fella is OK.

There were lots of pushing and shoving witch i accept and will accept an appoligy from the officer, even though his whole atittude stank at the time.
Yeah he werent injured just shuck up a little, but he is saying that he dont wanna go to salford monday, tryin to perswade him though, but still think im gonna be there by myself monday, thanks for concern
He just hasnt seen anything like that before, been takin him to games since he was a baby, my wife is dubious about goin to another game and she attends half of the games played by salford, both home and away, but she aint sure now, she says things could have been alot worse, and he could have been realy hurt.
Me bein brought up in moss side and hulme have seen serious incidents, so it dont bother me, what happend didnt even warrent a police intervention but haho.
Anyway back on topic and enough of my life story ( novel )
But will try and get them there monday with a promise to a visit to the club shop for some new gear and another rugby ball, oh and a hot dog, cant get away with chocolate as its easter today and they have more chocolate than cadburys

Phone the club, explain what's happened, see of they can arrange for your wee one to meet Ignito pre-match or something like that to make it a more enjoyable experience for him?

Will get him back to a game, whatever it takes, and the rest of the clan.

| TallRed - I hope you do get the apology and also that your lad is not permanently put off going to Rugby League - It would be good if some of the mindless idiots who started the trouble read all this, but somehow I doubt it!

| Glad to hear you made a complaint about the Police Tall Red, however wouldn't expect much to be done given how they're now allowed to treat people attending big sports events.
