Having just watched the tries on boots n all, m.smith and holdsworth looked like they combined pretty well! The passing along the line for broughtons try was class and you could see how much it meant to the players to take the lead in the game! Also J.Smith is a definate for a ban after taking out Orr, he didn't miss anyway! ha

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr:7891.jpg
Great to get our first win, you could see how much it meant to the players at the end. But lets not get too carried away I still thought we were poor especially in the first half our lack of yardage is worrying at times we didn't make 5 meters on a set of 6 (No I'm not exaggerating). Quins were really really poor going forward, but to be fair our goal line defence was good apart from the soft try Orr scored from dummy half. I just fear that if it were anyone else we played on Sunday we have been beaten comfortably. The second half was all us though and we played some good stuff, quins didn't look like they could cope at times. All in all I'm pleased with the win, but still very worried for the season ahead.
