Could be a good tactic that matey. Leeds are lacking any fluency in their play at the moment and will be desperate to get this back against the prospective Super League whipping boys prior to the Melbourne game. Getting in and amongst them in order to make the game a scrappy affair could well be the way to go.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr:7891.jpg |

| Don't think he's injured just don't think he's getting a look in at the moment. I'd also like to see him in and Sidlow as well.
I'd go for
1. Fitzy
2. Broughton
3. Littler
4. Henry (Only because there's not a chance Talau will be fit, he never is. But if by some miracle he does play I'd have him in the centre and Henry on the wing)
5. Gibson
6. Ratchford
7. M.Smith
8. Cashmere (If fit)/ (If I'd go with Boyle starting and Parker on the bench)
9. Alker
10. Jewitt
11. Adamson
12. Swain
13. Holdsworth
14. Smith
15. Boyle
16. Sidlow
17. Leuluai
No place for Parker, not making him a scapegoat far from it. I just don't think he's big enough to play prop and does absolutely nothing for us going forward. his work rate is immense at times, but we need more go forward IMO.

| Hmm, just thought of something, didn't notice anyone barking the orders on Friday. Last season it was shared between Alker and Paul.

| I'd also like to see Jewitt & Sidlow in on Friday. This is a big season for both of them, Jewitt especially. He's got everything you need in a prop but something hasn't quite clicked yet IMO. The pack was abysmal against Crusaders and really need to buck their ideas up against Leeds otherwise we are in for another tonking.

According to yesterday's MEN he is injured (mentioned in the Cashmere scan story).

A position that demands higher fitness levels than any other... Can see why he went for you!

As much as i said at the start of the season that i wanted to see Holdsworth at 13 i dont think we can afford to play him there. Our pack is simply not big or good enough at the minute so playing him at Loose loses us another forward player to take the ball in. Matty Smith to drop out for me aswell.

Agreed that on Friday he had a bad game- however it was the worse i've seen him play in a red shirt, up untill now in my opinion he's looked a good player. He's got pace, strong runner and can finish. His defence hasnt been that bad overall. Yes he got cought out with the high ball but he had no help whatsoever on each occasion- there was a problem there and what did we do to counter it?? Sod all!!!
McGilvary to keep his place for me.

| Watched the pre-season games and saw nothing to recommend him at all.
You need to be lightning quick if you're that size and he isn't.
Should have had more cover but his confidence will be shot.
Leeds would annihilate him !
