Far better to invest in UK talent - just weigh up the cost of contract, housing, family costs, travel and all the extras and you are well in excess of £100k pa. In my opinion we should look to develop good quality GB lads.
By the way - Im entitled to my opinion just as much as you are only maybe I am looking at it from a Financial point of view as well. Until we move to the new Stadium we should be operating in a totally different way.

| ray cashmere is worth all that and more, he is in a different time zone to the rest of our forwards and too lose him would be a massive set us back.

Why? What's wrong with Stapo? By far and away the best prop we've got or had since Rutcho's days.

Your correct he and his wife had settled in well and they were staying in the UK over the winter period.
It could be paper talk as usual he probably has said that he would like to finish his career in the NRL after he has completed his contract at Salford City Reds.

The difference between stapo and cashmere is about 500m and 20odd ofloads, in a season that would result in a few points imo, you replace like for like to keep the standard high, stapo is a good reliable steady eddie prop what we need is another cashmere who will make yards and recycle the ball in a tackle if we are to go to the next level

| What we need far more than another prop blindly offloading a la Cashmere is someone who can read the forthcoming offload and make use of them...look at Wiggin last week, Leuluai (who is still stealing a living!! ) was always on the shoulder of the forwards and they made big yards around the ruck because of it...who do we have doing this???

32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

Until lately Myler was the player backing up the play, the problem is if he's going we need to sign a replacement to give the team this kind of attacking threat to the opposition.

There is a guy who plays this kind of role perfectly, I think he plays for Harlequins.
I think his name is Luke something!!!!!!!!

| Getting australian players as got to stop i have never liked the idea of bringing aussies in to the english game due to this the national team dont have alot to chose from. I also so thought the idea of the franchise was to bring english players through. look how many overseas players leeds have and bringing more in why are they not bringing english youngsters into the game

Leeds really aren't the best example to use if you want to argue that there's too many overseas players in the game.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

| Personally I'm not mithered what country, race, gender, sexual persuasion, class, or income-level describes a player so long as they play well and consistently for Salford.
Cashmere has shown our younger players the standards they need to achieve and has done that better than any of our forwards since Rutch and (before that ) Cartwright.
