Can you actually "steal" someone who's a free agent because his employer technically didn't exist anymore?

Or someone who their parent club deemed surplus to requirements after loaning them out to a National League 2 side?

yes i now they still have to pay us a transfer fee because of the age of myler but correct me if im wrong but wont the transfer fee under the bosman ruling only be around the 50.000 mark and not the 250.000 we want for him

We have heard at several Forever Reds meetings that when Widnes entered administration a whole group of players were not paid what was due to them and Salford picked up a few and other clubs picked up some more.

This is not stealing it is what is called looking after ones self and it would be interesting to know just how much of the money that was owed to the players has actually been paid out of the thousands that were owed.

Stealing or poaching is what Wigan/ Noble did with Andy Coley and Warrington/Offiah appear to be trying on over Myler.

Myler has come on a lot since his move to Salford, Steve Nash is doing OK but has suffered injuries when playing well but has been unable to get a place back in the first team and Adam Sidlow has forced his way back into the first team squad and in my opinion should keep it.

When Richie Myler goes, as he surely will, he will go with the best wishes of the vast majority of genuine Salford fans although Martin Offiah has tarnished his reputation forever as far as I am concerned.

Its true though. It is much easier for a younger player to get a chance at a club like Salford than a bigger club. He wouldnt have even got a chance for us this season at stand off if it wasnt for Smith's injury and poor form. Smith had been poor for a while but yet it was only when he got injured and McRae was forced to play Ratchford that he got his chance.
