| Quote: bandgeekmafia78 "The biggest problem with Hock is that he cannot be trusted to play a full 80 minutes without giving away a number of stupid, preventable penalties. Its a shame really because he's a real talent, but you have to question whether he's worth keeping considering the amount of baggage that he brings with him.'"
I agree he will be in the top 3/4 earners at the club as well this could be used to get 2 players for me. i would love a Danny Kirmond or someone like that who plays with his heart. But obviously he loves it at Wakefield and you can't fault him for that. We need more players like him in our game.

| Elliot Whitehead would be my choice. Although granted, he doesn't solve our defensive problems.

| I'd like to see us from now on play
11. Paterson - for me he is a back rower got a great off load and has an understanding with Dobson
12. Hauraki - An absolute grafter and his defence is top notch
13. Hansen - For me Hansen is just a tackling machine doesn't really break the line anymore but can tackle all day needs to more vocal though as a leader if were up against it
Hock when back should come off the bench sorry but we need to move forward without him

| The general consensus on here after his break for the exit last year was that we should try and keep him. Two games in and he's already up for a ban for nothing more than being his usual moronic self. Get rid. Paterson to partner with Dobson and Hauraki with Chase.

| I just get the feeling that Hauraki and HH are to similar, in the back row you need a grafter, an off loader and a line breaker.
If you get them all in one player even better.
Hock for me needs telling any moor foolishness this season and you can start looking elsewhere again, I keep saying it brilliant but very flawed.

Yes that's why i feel Paterson & Hauraki in the back row with Hansen at loose. I've never understood why Hansen has never played in the loose forward position anyhow

| Frustrating thing is that we could all see that Hock was starting to get frustrated and annoyed when he was giving penalties away. Only person who couldnt see it was Iestyn Harris who should've substituted him. Poor coaching.

| Anyone seen the logic in him playing at prop yet? I thought it might work, unconvinced after the Saints game. If anything it means he just gets himself embroiled in even more aggro. Seems odd to shift a backrower into prop when you've got Tony Puletua, Carl Forster and Luke Menzies (all props) waiting in the wings for a place.

| The guy is a complete buffoon, when he got banned for the cocaine i was ecstatic, no more Hock at Wigan, then they stupidly gave him a big shinny new contract, i was infuriated, i stated straight away he would be nothing but trouble and be a disrupted force within the team, it wasn't long before i was right, the day he finally left Wigan i was that happy i had a little party for myself with cup cakes, fizzy lemonade and salmon sarnies, it is a shame that Koukash thought he would be a big crowd pleaser and brought him to your club when he could have used the money better elsewhere, get rid and let him finish his career at Doncaster
or some other lower league club

I think this is far too clever for me, I just don't get the pun.
Hock baiting seems to have moved from the field of play to twitter now, it is great watching from the outside, as it's like a random generator as to what he will do next.
Great entertainment factor, but only if he's not in your side.

People should be a little more responsible though. Constant bombardment of someone on social media is relatively new but the effects can be very random indeed. Ranging from nothing through to suicide, and everything in between. We've had a big push to recognise mental health issues in RL after some pretty bad happenings. I'm not sure the world of 'Bantz' has come to terms with exercising restraint when required. While Gaz is his own worst enemy sometimes, the bombardment he gets is not justified in any way on social media. He's had people telling him he should 'off himself' like his best mate Newton in the past. That's just not acceptable, and while I think he is stupid rising to the bait, it must be really difficult under certain circumstances.
Twitter leaves me feeling uncomfortable at how easy it is to get under someones skin. It's not good. Why provoke, undermine, and offend someone for no other reason than 'for a laugh'?
Pointless, and can only lead to negative outcomes.

Shinny. Leg. Not sure it really worked to be honest.
Agree with The Butcher here. The anonymity and lack of real world comeback afforded by the internet lets people act like proper bellends. I've done it myself. Twitter in particular, whilst brilliant in many ways, is really bad for knee-jerk bandwagon jumping. Hock would be far better off if he kept his account private - having it public is inevitably going to be a recipe for disaster, sadly.
