Hey, I'm with you completely! Just guessing at plausible excuses.
Complaining about tickets when you can buy and print online, or pick up from either club is a joke tbh. Same with insisting on parking in the stadium car park and then complaining it takes an hour to get away, unless you have a disability or something similiar, just walk a 5 minute walk and your problems are solved.
People will come up with excuses to get out of anything if they wish to.

I'd use that as a reason to not play him in all honesty. Saints will also know of Howarth's weaknesses and god help us if he plays because I'd fully expect them to exploit him.
We already have Meli & Puletua (if fit) that know a hell of a lot more about Saints than Howarth will & are better players in their respective positions.
I'm excited for this game on the off chance we win, it would really send a message out IMO. I think it's a big step up from our first two performances, and although I'm sure the boys will be up FOR it, I'm not sure they'll be up TO it just yet. I sincerely hope I'm proven wrong though, we've certainly got enough players that can produce a bit of magic, just hope it comes on Thursday!

| Be a big test Thursday 1st of many to see how far we can go
The reason Howath is above Theo in the pecking order is because in the cold light of day he is more versatile
Can play 6,7, 9, 12, 13
Theo can play 6, 7, 9
Be interesting to see who Nobly goes with

Full agree. I've been to Salford twice and never had a problem with either tickets or parking. I can't stand people moaning for the sake of it. Just get your tickets, park up and enjoy the game.

| 3 games in with virtually a new squad against a very decent Saints team. Not expecting a win. Its just come too early for where we're at. Gutted I can't go, working til 7. Will have To dive in nearest pub and watch. Coyd.

| I'd be happy with a fairly narrow loss on Thursday, but a win would be pretty sweet too.

| Should be a big game - a lot of your new boys will fancy a big game against Saints (particularly Meli, TP, Hansen, Hock, Morley, Howarth - all for a variety of different reasons).
If we play like we did early doors against Hull we'll lose. If we play like we did for parts of the second half we could win comfortably.
Tough one to call - I'd go for a narrow Saints win.

| I'm tempted with a cheeky double on Salford HT, Saints FT.

| I know all Salford fans now think they are going to win the league on the basis of 2 lucky wins against s*** teams but you have a true test on Thursday against one of the Big Boys.
I don't rate your current line up. It could be a Cricket score.

I don't think any salford fan on here has said we're going to win. We just want to watch a close match which if we have a full squad we are capable and MAYBE MAYBE pull of a shock. Obviously I want salford to win but I think saints will win by 6

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, what you see before you here is what is commonly called a 'troll'. Please do not pay it any attention or it will only pester you even more. Ignore it, and hopefully it will disappear back where it came from...

| Should be a good game - we (saints) have had 2 good wins which have included some very good and some very patchy periods. Whilst you guys have beaten the worst 2 sides in SL , one not convincingly so need to up your anti.
Hope things go well for Salford this year , it's nice to hear positive RL news for a change instead of the endless doom and gloom from over the Pennines and down south. Just start next week

| All I hope for on Thursday is a credible performance from all the lads, our defensive line will have to tighten up considerably to slow down the Stains pack..
If the crowd exceeds 4k I will be amazed, solely due to it being a school night and on Sky
Anticipate either a one score winning margin if we can tighten up, if not, we're getting trounced!!!!

NO! NO! NO! NO and NO!!
He can't play in any of those positions!!
Second row and Loose forward?! Are you insane?!
Anyway, Thursday night.
I predict a loss by around 18 and a crowd of around 6000.
I'd put Theo on the bench if Chase if fit.
