Each to their own, I certainly wouldn't turn up in fancy dress, but if we are to grow our crowds then some will. Whilst it is not me, I am not bothered if someone else wants to. There seems to be some kind of inverted snobbery where if you show your club colours you are a k..b, but it is cool not to wear any club colours at all. Live and let live eh.

I wonder who'll be the first turn up dressed as a jokey in Koukash colours with an inflatable horse?

Not really Bill, just an aversion to people dressing and acting like fools.

I'm afraid you'llhave to get used to people dressing up if we expand our fan base, if I think back to the Karl Harrison success era we had red wigs and pink cowboy hats regularly seen at games. I have not seen a few of these people for some time now, but if they return, and more like them start to appear you will get wigs and daft hats, goes with success it would appear. They don't do anyone any harm so hey ho.

As I've said many times I'm ambivalent about the whole thing, but some people appear to have strong views. Whatever your personal view, remember it is just that, a personal view, it does not make it the right view. We need to increase our gates for the Doctors plans to pan out, new fans will mean changes, some for the better, some not. One thing is for sure there will be change.

I just think fancy dress is unnecessary and a way of bringing attention to those who wear it, rather than being about supporting the team. If that makes me boring then, meh, I'll live with it.

Red League: I think the Friday v Sunday matches should have a vote via Facebook. Maybe everyone who wants Fridays click like on a vote friday page and all those for Sunday click like for a vote sunday page.
The only reason I think this has to be the only way is 1 Salford have 9000+ potential fans they can contact via Facebook
