Did you even go to the game? You scored 2 tries in the last 5 minutes, how is that in any way not a close match? And you can say it would of been more with your full team, but we was missing more vital players than you were, so maybe it probably would of been closer, just fook off.

Yes i did go to the game and you were not missing more "vital" players than we were.

You had internationals sat on the bench, we had a young schoolboy making his debut, what you don't understand is, if Warrington spend £3m a year on a team and Salford £1m, you in theory have a ratio of 3 good players to our 1 good player. So to put it in very simple terms we having 5 players missing of the good standard would equate to Warrington having 15 good players missing.
Therefore our 5 "vital" players was a much greater lose to Salford than Warrington missing 5.
Looking at todays results Bradford suffered more than Warrington, or did they?
Over to Wire_74, by the way is that your IQ?

Yes we was, our best two play makers, our best player, our biggest and best prop and the only Full back and an ex Warrington play with experience, who would of surely put his everything in against his old team, and I see you can't back up your point it was a close game then?

| well done to salford, pushed us all the way and yes scoreline flattered us at the end, if you can keep that effort up and with key players returning you should win a few more this season. be good to play you in your new stadium, good luck for rest of the season

| We played quite well but as has been said above never really looked like winning. Wire were probably there for the taking as well. Put in that effort for the rest of the season though and I don't think anyone will be complaining.

| Quote: Prestwich Red "The score certainly flattered Warrington.
With all the money and players they have I would have expected a much better performance from them.
Dont give me this we played a game a weekend and you have had a week off cr@p,there are players at Wire who are probably on double of what ourplayers are on and for most of the game we matched them.
First half was a penalty free for all mostly in Warringtons favour and you can not hope to win a game when you have that against you.
Second half Salford were much the better team, we just missed that essential spark in the last ten which would have given us points.
Remember we had 4 players missing 2 of whom are our playmakers, with the small squad we have that is a killer. Not all teams are able to have a Solomona on the bench.
So overall I was very happy with Salfords performance.
Good Luck Wire though it pains me to say it, you will certainly need it.'"
Im not one to cause trouble or ruffle feathers on here but this post is littered with bitterness. We've dished out 2 dickings to you already this season and with a bit more composure in your 20 on friday we would have again despite playing below average. I think you have to look at the 5-10 minute spell in the second half when you were camped on our line and you failed to break down the leagues number 1 defence. We were below average and still won, that has more to do with how good our team is rather than how bad.

| Thought it was a fabulous performance the 100% effort and commitment was there, its just a shame with 20 mins to go when wire were wobbling we coughed the ball up not once but THREE times wire regained their composure marched up the field and Briers dropped a goal and that was that game over.
Warrington took their chances and we didnt the two tries at the end put the wrong spin on the result, The players can be proud of their efforts and hopeful move on to next week full of confidence.

| Decent effort from our lads on Friday I thought. Whilst we never quite did enough to win the effort was tremendous and just that bit of quality was missing in their 20m which could have seen us nick the win. W*re are a very strong outfit, good defensively, plenty of line breakers in their attack and even missing 3/4 players isn't going to affect them too much with the strength in depth they have. The 17 point margin flattered W*re although tired legs in the last 5 minutes can probably be blamed for that.
W*re will be there or thereabouts this season as they don't appear to have any weak links in their team and I think they've every chance of making the GF from what I've seen.
BTW, note to King & Harrison. Sort your f*cking barnets out!!! Pop in to Worthy's & I'm sure he'll give you a short back & sides

Factor in the success of last year and Warrington finds itself with a real vermin problem atm, not just on here but at the games too. Only gonna get worse to with the summer holidays approaching and the possibility of another final appearance. Oh joy.'"
I hope you are not refering to my good self. I have 36 years in the bag of watching warrington, through good and bad times. If salford fans want to take offence to and try to make a meal of light hearted comments then maybe they need sense of humour transplants like the one steve simms had. He claimed that salford were the better team at the HJ earlier in the year despite losing by 30 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two late tries that gave you a flattering scoreline after we'd kept you in touching distance all through the game. Yes, far from being a close game.
Oh, and I know it's been said already, but I'd just like to reiterate it. The phrase is "would have." Thank you.
